Full team name and nickname logos do not look good, in my opinion, when they are downsized by the game. |

Well, I made some items that are more like your traditional design preferences for Bay St. Clair than my usual design tastes recently. remember, EC? Maybe I can do the same for Arroyo Grande, if I can find the time and all. It may not be as easy for me to do as it might be for others, but I do need to gain more design experience at times, I think, of course.
It's not a problem to try to help you all I can, whenever I can, and when the Lord leads me to try, you know. I may not be as good of a visual artist as many others here, for sure. But at least you know I always try my best when it comes to that sort of thing, among other things I often try to do in my life, don't you? I'll write more later, as time allows and all, Lord willing and all, of course. Thanks for posting at least some of what you currently have for Arroyo Grande, in any case, EC. CD out.

Yes, you did Bay St. Clair and they were fine... they were in the traditional style I prefer, however, I just preferred the ones I did... go ahead and see what you come up with if you want to develop your skills. Just don't get your hopes up that I will use them... I have been spoiled over the last 10 years by the best of the best graphics designers on the OOTP Mods Forum... they did the IPA logos, jerseys and caps for me. I just can't get new ones done anymore... the Forum has changed its focus a lot in recent years... the great designers for the most part just do their own threads and only occasionally do personal requests. |

I found this logo: I think I will use it until we're able to get a new official Hillsboro logo made. Last edited by jg2977; 10-15-2021 at 11:54 AM. |

That might work for me too, I think, either as a primary or as a secondary logo for the Blazers, until someone comes up with better options for updating knuckler's work. Hope we haven't seen the last of him here, but of course we may have, you know, folks. CD out.

Try to see if txranger will do a logo for you in the Retro thread. He likes to do logos... you just might pique his interest. Ask for a Primary Logo and a Secondary Logo. He did the Colfax Black Sox and the Volusia Vigilantes for me last year... and recently he did a beautiful job on the new IPA League Logo. Show him the Jerseys and Caps. If txranger declines the request, then post your request on the Mods Forum and maybe someone will do it. Last edited by Eugene Church; 10-15-2021 at 01:26 PM. |

Edit: Yes, jg2977, show him as many of my Hillsboro Blazers items as you like, but do as Eugene says, and leave my screen name out of it, as you can, please. Maybe he will help, or not, if you do. But nothing ventured, nothing gained, as the proverbial saying goes, I believe. CD out.

Wow, I just noticed that on Page 2 you had updated the Fairfax Frogs' logo and uniforms. I've been using the old ones. Nothing wrong with them, but I prefer the new ones better. I'll update Fairfax tonight. They've been successful in my IPA recently, so I'll get to see them in action right away during the playoff games.

jg2977:
Here is a reworked Belair Beach Sunbirds Primary Logo and Secondary Logo. There is now better spacing on "Belair Beach"... the two words were too close before... it bothered me... also CD. I also reworked the colors to make it show up better and brighter on game screens. I made the lettering on the Primary Logo Yellow, so it would be brighter... outlined it in Bright Red... the previous one was darker in color. Use whatever you have and whatever you prefer. |

Much better, EC. Thank you for revisiting the logo options for Belair Beach like you just did. CD out.

I think I'm going to rebrand the Kilkenny Cats as the Kilkenny Hops. There's already several cats-themed teams - Tiger Cats, Cybercats, Wild Cats, Hellcats. I looked up Kilkenny online and here's what I found via Wikipedia:
"Kilkenny is a nitrogenated Irish cream ale from the makers of Guinness, which originated in Kilkenny, Ireland. The brand is managed and produced by Diageo. It is available in draught, bottles and cans. It is brewed in Ireland. Kilkenny is similar to Smithwick's Draught; however, it has less hop finish, and it has a nitrogenated cream head similar to Guinness. The 'Kilkenny' name was originally used during the 1980s and 1990s to market a stronger version of Smithwick's for the European and Canadian markets due to difficulty in pronunciation of the word 'Smithwick's'. It now refers to a similar yet distinct beer. Kilkenny was brewed in St. Francis Abbey Brewery in Kilkenny, which was the oldest operating brewery in Ireland until its closure in 2013. It is now brewed at St. James's Gate brewery, Dublin.[2] It is served in similar manner to Guinness; fully risen with a head of ¾ to 1" approx. The ingredients are water, malted barley, roasted malted barley, hops, and yeast.[3] While Ireland is the primary market for Kilkenny, Australia and Canada are the two largest importers of Kilkenny." Low has a great "Hops" set of logos, caps and jerseys so that will be perfect to use. |

Kilkenny's team likely will be, and/or probably already is, the Kilkenny Knights, in my non-public version(s) of the IPA, and/or my future public version(s) of the Eudageron Baseball Federation, if I remember correctly enough here. But I don't think I've found or made any uniforms, caps, and/or logos for them just yet. I could be wrong about that, of course, but I don't think I am, to be honest. I'll probably try to make some items up, and go from there, if that's true, at least for the time being. Just so you know, you two. CD out.

I'm sure he does, but I'm not sure what I'd want Kilkenny to have as team colors, if I did call them the Knights. Just so you know. But thanks for the information, in any case, jg2977. CD out.

Here are alternate versions of the Hillsboro Blazers Primary and Secondary Logos.
I think they are cleaner and less blurry than the original primary logo... I never had a secondary version... so I made one using the comet/baseball image by itself. I made them so they would look good on your white background skin. They really look good on my black skin. I am going to use #4 as my primary logo... the extra black color on it shows off the lettering a little bit better in my opinion. The plain comet will be my secondary logo... simple, uncluttered logos without a lot of lettering show up better when the game reduces them... just a plain mascot image or just a team's single letter like C for Cleveland or double letters like NY, SD or SF. Very nice, EC. I like them. I'll grab them soon. Thank you for making them. Hopefully someone else might be inspired by them to do something better, though, like you and I and JG probably hope will be the case soon, for them. CD out.

Those look nice EC. TX Ranger did make me retro logos and uniforms too. For now I’ll be using his, up until I get into around the 1980s in my league.
