Keep working on your graphics... I thought the Vice City Electrics logos you posted were excellent... they really captured the meaning of the nickname in graphic form... Ink65 did a fine creative piece of work.

The wire being plugged in was excellent... the colors you used were excellent, too... they were very close to the colors of the Miami Vice colors.

You did well.

You also did some nice work on the Mesa Sunfires jerseys... the sunburst was an excellent choice... if you like, I can do you a logo using the sunburst if you post it for me here in this thread.

I'll have to look and see what the fonts I've already used for the prospective teams in this potential Arizona-based league are later, I'm sure, so I can tell you later on what they are. But I've tried not to use fonts that are too similar to the one or ones used for any other applicable team in this particular thought-vein, in any case.

Post 221 was mainly meant as a reminder of how things are for me currently, to myself, and a notice to everyone else, especially the mentioned people, on such things, when it comes to graphics-related requests here, at least. I don't really know how soon I'll actually be able to make at least a bit more progress on such things here, just yet, of course. But I still wanted to let others know how things currently stood for me and everyone else here, in terms of such things. And to remind myself as needed about them as well.

Yes, I know I made the original Vice City logos, but you posted some new ones recently done by Ink625... those are the ones I was posting about... you posted them on page 9 and 10 of this thread.

My original Vice City logos needed colors changed on the mascot image to match the colors of the team... no one ever changed the colors.

Without the color change, mine did not look good at all... plus the design was plain and simple... but it was at least a starting point, but no one followed up on it like I was hoping.

Basically, as you know after dealing with me for two years, you and I have far different tastes in colors and jersey styles.

I personally would not use any of the Arizona League jerseys... just not my style and tastes... sorry.

The only one I thought looked fairly good was the Mesa Sunfires... that was almost good... but in my opinion you used colors that didn't blend well on it.
I would not have used the Gold color with the Red and Blue... Dark Blue, Light Blue and Red would have been nice colors, even thought the sunburst image had Gold in it.
If I had done the Mesa Sunfires, I would have used only the colors in the sunburst image... it looks like it is Red, Gold and maybe Dark Blue... I would have just used Red and Gold colors... and maybe the Light Blue, too.

I only used three or four colors besides white, I believe, EC. Including a coppery color, if I remember correctly enough here. I tried to use certain colors that would hopefully help the logo stand out better, and all, seeing as it already had a couple of colors on it as well. Hopefully, I didn't mess up too much in that regard, or anything, of course.

Hoping I can either figure out how to do the text on the Phoenix Tricksters' two uniforms well, or get some help with said text as necessary and desired and all. It may still take some doing to make the text wordings look good, I admit, but I think I like what I have for the base uniforms so far, in any case. If and when their uniforms are done, I think I"ll be able to figure out how to do the necessary caps later fairly well, in truth.

I have some ideas for the Tucson Strikers, but I'll probably have to play around with the colors a little bit, at least, to make them look at least halfway decent, if not better than that, I think. I'm seriously considering using the scorpion image that koohead posted earlier in the thread for them, but haven't ultimately decided that yet for sure.

As for Yuma, I have no idea yet how I might do some uniforms for them, if I decide to stick with the potential nickname of Heatwave for their team. There may be better options out there to consider for Yuma, but not sure what those might be as of yet. May need to do some more research, I think, but I think Heatwave is still quite likely to be the ultimately-decided team nickname for Yuma.

I think the currently-chosen colors for each posted team have so far been sufficiently varied between them all here. Of course, I could be wrong about that, but I don't think I am at this point. I am not sure if I'll also do potential All-Star Game-type sets for a proposed Arizona League here, either, but we'll have to see what comes to my mind along related thought-veins, no doubt.

We'll have to see if Koohead might use most, if not all, of the posted sets, once I'm done with all the applicable related work to them as best as I can do it, I'm sure. As for logos, perhaps others can create the necessary ones, if generic ones or known historical ones aren't used instead, of course.

Will write more later, as time allows and all, I fully expect. One thing is certain, though, Eugene. I certainly couldn't do ANY of this graphics work that I've been doing for quite a while now as well as I've probably been doing it without God's help and inspiration and leading and all, I'm quite sure. The colors I used for Mesa besides white were Paradise Pink, Midnight Blue, Copper, and Cool Gray, according to the site where I got the required colors from. The font I used was Quadrat-Serial, it seems. I really don't know yet if I'll make more alternate uniforms, but as for Mesa-related caps, I'll probably go with bicolor caps, I think, whether I put letters or the logo on them, ultimately.

Not sure yet just what colors I can perhaps use for the Tucson Strikers here, seeing as the colors I was just considering to use for them are actually going to be used by the bonus team I've already begun work on here, it seems. So I'll likely have to think about things a bit here in relation to them, of course.

It'll probably take a few days, at least, but maybe something or some things related to Arthurian legends, for instance, might work well here? Just a thought or two here, at least, that's all. Meanwhile, perhaps the eight teams you're likely dropping from your four small recreational leagues could form one single league and compete against each other, much like your IPA teams do already. In fact, if you want to shrink the IPA, why not have certain teams leave it and form another league entirely, to compete against the IPA, for instance? Just a thought, that's all, Eugene. CD out.

Okay, it doesn't appear I'm going to be able to somehow actually change the colors of the letters either in Tricksters or in Phoenix using Paint 3d, so I guess I'll have to leave the colors of the letters and all as they are now, unfortunately. But if that's the way things have to be, then so be it. The prospective Phoenix Tricksters uniforms have now been updated in the applicable post for this thread, in any case. That is all. CD out.

Yuma's uniforms will be up as soon as I think I've done them well enough to be at least halfway decent here, and as soon as I can get them up and all. After I finish doing their uniforms as best as I can and all, I'll likely start on the caps for the various teams I've been working on here for a while.

As for logos, I may need some help, of course, as always, if I can't find suitable enough ones to go with the applicable team names or if I don't already have them collected. Hopefully, it won't be too hard to find them, if I don't have them already, whether or not any of you choose to try and help me out here with them, of course. But if it is, then so be it.

As far as the bonus teams, I have only done work on one potential bonus team so far. That team's nickname is most likely decided already, but the other nicknames for the other potential bonus teams are not necessarily decided yet, in truth. I still won't tell you where the bonus teams might come from here, though. That will likely have to wait at least until I have made caps for the first twelve teams I have in mind for this potential Arizona-based baseball league, folks.

CD, I need a nickname for Avalon, based on the the King Arthur legends.
Don't do anything until I decide on a nickname... also I need to tell you the colors to use for me... if you like, you can design your own version of Avalon, too, using your choice of colors.

Post a few suggested nicknames here in this thread for Avalon in my new North Island Elite League.

CD, thanks for the suggestion, but the reason I am cutting down on the teams is because I have learned that small leagues are easier to administrate and also easier to get immersed in... you learn the players much better in small leagues... I think the best leagues are two leagues with 8 teams in each one... my North Island and South Island leagues now number 16 teams... 4 leagues with 4 teams each... with 15-man rosters... and they play only on Sunday... one game a week, March through June... very short-season baseball... amateur baseball... that will work well for me.

I kept 4 leagues because I wanted to still use the Promotion/Relegation mode... only one team will be promoted and demoted each year in the new arrangement.

Hey CD. Sorry I didn't see this post until now, I've had a rough few weeks. For the Nassau Chillin' Baseballs, they need a colorful alternate. You should be able to drag the color finder to some of the colors on the logo. There should be a blue and yellow there. Could you make a blue jersey with white and yellow stripes on the sleeves? Also, could you put the logo on the right sleeve for a "patch"? The text should be in cursive and in the color gray with a yellow outline. On the back could you put a yellow number 5 with a white outline in a bold font?
