28-year-old outfielder Tyler Massey has agreed to a minor-league contract with the Cardinals and been assigned to AA Springfield.
Massey last played in an independent league and did not have much success in his time in the minors but was noted for his leadership skills, which the struggling Redbirds are in great need of. |
