Cards news: Reyes called up for spot start; Martinez will head to Memphis

Looking to give struggling No. 1 starter Carlos Martinez some rest, St. Louis has called right-handed pitcher Alex Reyes to the majors for a spot start.
First baseman Jose Martinez will make a quick trip to Memphis, before probably returning to the club for their next game.
