Either works, I think they're just duplicates. The ratings are a bit different but the ratings on the 16 year old IAFA's are pretty speculative anyway, there's no real way to say for sure which is more accurate

Another duplicate: in the 2017 draft class there's a guy named Dalton "Tolly" Filotei. Tolly Filotei was actually drafted last year and is in the Cubs' system.

Lukas any thoughts on adjustments to the following?

OF Ben Gamel .351/.412/.487
Has progressed from a 4th OF, to a legit starting LF for the Mariners. He's been red hot for sometime, and probably not a near 900 OPS guy at all. Perhaps bumping up avg/2b/bb slightly here?

OF Mitch Haniger .313/.428/.539
Started off season red-hot, then was on DL for a month. Has continued to hit since being off DL. Again, maybe not super-star 900 OPS sustained levels, but may need some boosts overall (BB, Avg)?

SP Ariel Miranda
Career averages of per 9 innings: 7K/1.8HR/3.2BB - bump up K rate, but decrease movement/HR
Maybe a 6-4-5 guy on the 2-8 scale? (stuff-HR-BB)

SP James Paxton
The current ace of the staff. Career rates of 8.3 K/ 0.7 HR/2.9 BB
Recommend increase to stuff - something around a 7-7-5 or 7-6-6 guy?

SS Jean Segura
current splits this year of .341/.391/.462
OPS last season of 867 in ARI, so far OPS of 852 with Mariners. Made adjustments last two years and now appears to be a legit 4-5 WAR SS overall. Consider boosts overall (Avg, slight increase to BB). Editor has him as a 782 OPS player.

RP James Pazos
2.01 ERA this year thus far - career rates per 9 of 10K / 0.9 HR/3.4 BB
Increase to current ratings to get him on the current staff versus Hagadone or Mark Lowe

Segura, yeah he definitely needs a boost.

Haniger I can already tell you I think is fine. We're talking about 130 hot ab's here and his ratings make him more than capable of going on that sort of tear as is. In fact he's currently doing even better in my test game than he is irl!

I have no idea what that error is or why it would happen. Most likely it would be because that's what your draft rounds are set to though.

What type of game are you playing, Quickstart, Standard, Historical etc?

I am playing historical. I double checked, and it only did 4 rounds. And I do have it set to 15 rounds within the settings option.

Depending on the year in historical there may only be four rounds worth of players. What year are you in?

So the draft was for 1970. The date of the draft was never changed. Within settings, the only thing highlighted is "Enable Amateur Draft" and "Enable Advanced Draftee Signing". Other then that, that is all. Everything was imported from OOTP17. And in 17, the draft worked properly from 1901 till 1969 (15 rounds). The 1970 season is the first draft performed on the OOTP18. Just downloaded it last week. Is there a file that maybe wasn't imported properly?

I'm not sure, but it sounds like something is off. Maybe try sending me a copy of the save so I can look things over? Instructions are in my signature.

Made a few tweaks and adjustments here, nothing major except for Segura though. I did jump Paxton's stuff up quite a bit as well.

Cardinals closer Seung-Hwan Oh has a special clause in his contract that makes him a free agent after this season. The game thinks he is club-controlled for four more years. I "fixed" this in my game by adding 860 days (172*5) to his service time.

Just got through the 2018 draft and found another duplicate player: there's a pitcher named Ricky Tyler Thomas in both the 2017 and 2018 draft classes.
