The Jays hit three home runs but they were all solo shots and the A's won 5-3.

The homers came from Jose Reyes, Eric Hosmer and Russell Martin.

The Jays dropped a tight one, losing 4-3 to the Yankees.

Jose Bautista left the game with a sore thumb, and it probably cost them the game as Nick Swisher was unable to reach a two-out fly ball that cashed in three runs.

The 8-3 loss to the Yankees was the least of the bad news as Brandon Moss has turn his quad and is basically out for the rest of the season.
