Awards Voting Issues for multiple league members:
Tried using both IE and Chrome and in both cases it is not working. When I add players to the list they don't get added and the box where they should appear shrinks. Any suggestions?

It's a known issue, Matt. The key is not to sort stats to add players to the list. If you still want to sort stats, make sure you refresh the browser after. I know, it's annoying.

The sorting algorithm is based on some old javascript code that was written by a 3rd party and doesn't play nicely with modern browsers anymore. Eventually, it'll all be replaced, but in the meantime, I find it easiest to have two windows open and sort in one while voting in the other.

I can't seem to get the validator to find the dbopen.php file. It must be something simple. It found the config file ok.

What should I be looking for?

Thanks

Stats Lab Install Issue

Hi all, I have an issue trying to install stats lab. I have all my files loaded, and validator.php shows that everything is working, but when I go to
sql_file_load.php, it says ``You must be a commisioner to access this page``. I have tried reinstalling all my stats lab files, and all my MySQL files, but that didn`t work... I still have the same issue. Here is a link to my site:

Individual Table Load - StatsLab for OOTP15

If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike

I've updated StatsLab15 with bug fixes for HOF ballot generation and the ammy draft. Download it here.

Need help importing our draft class to StatsLab.

I'm getting this error when I upload draft.csv,

Only *.csv files are permitted
Please note that you may receive this error message if you have the file open while uploading.
Sorry your file was not uploaded
Return to the draft admin page

I don't have Excel,etc opened.

Problem w/ "Load .sql files"

I've uploaded and overwritten the .sql files into the folder where the files had previously been placed. Upon logging into StatsLab (OOTP 14 v.3.0.13), I go to the admin page attempt to click the "Load Functions - Load Sql Files" option and after a few seconds I get the following:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

-------
UPDATE: After going back through and only putting the necessary files into the upload process, I am able to load the sql files without a time out on the server. All of the load and post-load functions are up to date and things appear to be working. The only thing I am still having trouble with is on the left hand side portion of the admin screen.

"The Previous SQL Load (YYYY-MM-DD):" is still wrong and the "Calculated Sim Length:" is wrong. The sim length is stuck at 23 days when the previous sim was just 1 day.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Permissions on the SQL upload folder need to allow read access for the web user. Feel free to hit me up in IM if you can't get past this and I'll look in detail.

Try using the individual SQL file load page to reload the leagues.mysql.sql file.

That page can also be helpful if you have regular issues with the internal server error, which is caused by php timing out during the load. You can use the individual load page to load the files in groups to make it a smaller hit on the server at a time.

I deleted all the .sql files from the server, re-uploaded them, and then tried this. While all of the data is correct, it still seems to think the last sim was 23 days long.

It should correct itself with the next sim/upload, then, as long as you don't run into the timeout again.

Season Summary - Awards Winners

I am running version 15 (patch 5) of OOTP along with version 3.0.16 of Statslab. It seems that the Season Summary (under History) does not always show the correct Awards winners. For example, the names that Statslab sometimes shows as the winner could be a player that finished second or third in the particular award voting. I am looking specifically at Outstanding Pitcher, Outstanding Hitter and Newcomer awards. Has anyone seen anything similar?

Thank you!

This is a known issue with OOTP15. Prior to OOTP15, the data export only gave the winners. In OOTP15, it started including the top 3 finishers but there is no differentiation as to what order they finished in. There's no way to solve this until Markus/Andreas adds that information.

I'm having some issues getting our draft set-up in StatsLab. When I try to Import the draft order or eligible players I get the following error:

"Warning: move_uploaded_file(./uploads/draft_order_100.csv) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/ootpnbl/public_html/StatsLab/draft_order_import.php on line 66"

I think the problem is that I don't know where to place the draft.csv file once I export it from the game. Can anyone help with this?

Maybe a player has a comma in the name (or any other exported column but name is where I would start) , that always screws up csv's

I seem to have missed this one. Your file is erroring out on the special characters with accents over the letters. Are the MySQL tables set to use UTF-8 encoding and collation? You can check this by looking at the database and table structure in phpMyAdmin.

It may be that you need to expand permissions on the StatsLab uploads directory so that StatsLab can manipulate the files there.
