Don't you live in San Jose, mirrf, or am I thinking of someone else?

Obviously with me being so far away anyway, I don't care where they go. I'll keep watching them and rooting for them even if they're on the North Pole.

Yea, I live about 2-3 miles south of downtown. -So I'm all for the move. Maybe that will finally get BART to the largest city in the bay area.

With all honesty, I would go to more than double the number of A's games a year if they moved to my back yard.

It's about 15-20 minutes farther for me to drive to SJ than to Oakland, but it's not that big of a deal since I make a nice little tailgate event out of games I go to.

For all those people who love Bob Geren, this is your story. Wait? Nobody here has a man crush on Geren? Well, then we all suffer for another year.

Just try to think of the good ole' days with Ken Macha riding the pine.

How the heck do you do a strikeout font? I want to put a big line over Macha's name....

Who are these guys? Iwamura? Cramer? Hermida?

It's like I woke up from a dream to find myself on the waver wire.

Yeah, this team is pretty LOL right now. At least they're still hovering around .500 but beyond that I am pretty much not paying attention anymore.

Congrats to Eric Sogard for getting his first hit yesterday. He was traded to the A's a bit before the season started with Kouz. He hit a soft .300 in AAA this season and hopefully will compete with Ellis for the starting 2B position next year.

The River Cat's season ended on Monday. 4 Members of the team are now with the Oakland A's. It seems like every September we get to see a bunch of AAA players because of the lack of a pennant race.

Is it possible we might break .500 this year?

On Sunday, we had the power 3-6 lineup of:

M. Ellis
K. Suzuki
M. Carson
J. Donaldson

They have a combined 20 homers this year.

The entire starting A's lineup had 35 total homers.

Yet we won 6-2

Weird!

I don't want to see a Matt anywhere near the A's roster next year.
