It was a fractured hand that will cost him the rest of the year. For the year, Krock had a 2-5 record in 17 games (6 starts). 7/2: New York P Harry Salisbury become only the 2nd pitcher ever to collect his 350th win. It wasn't pretty as he only went 5 innings, but luckily the offense provided him with enough support as the Giants prevailed 10-7. The 35-year old Salisbury has a 350-270 record with a lifetime 2.46 ERA. He has also logged an astonishing 5441.1 innings. 7/17: Chicago trades 33-year old P Jack Leary (22 G, 3.65 ERA) to Louisville for 32-year old 1B Dan Brouthers (.333, 14 RBI). In 55 games, he had registered just 75 AB with 20 runs scored. 7/18: New York P Nat Hudson signed a 4-year extension @ $1,680 per year. 7/22: New York P Harry Salisbury had a career day at the plate today! Salisbury went 5 for 5 in an 8-3 victory which he also picked up. Oddly enough, this is the 2nd time Salisbury has collected 5 hits in a game, he also did it back on 9/10/88, QUITE A RARITY INDEED! 7/26: Brooklyn Bridegrooms trade 25-year old P Ted Kennedy (29 G, 3.57 ERA) to Phila. Another interesting note is whether or not he will be back with the club as this is the last year of his contract. For the year, the 22-year old was batting .354 with 5 HR and 63 RBI. He also had 113 hits. ![]() Batting Leaders BA: Ed Delahanty (PHA) .362 Hits: Sam Thompson (LOU) 113 2B: Emil Gross (SYR) 30 3B: Ed Delahanty (PHA) 14 HR: Charlie Duffee (COL) 7 RBI: Herman Long (TOL) 67 Runs: Mike Griffin (TOL) 77 SB: Walt Wilmot (STL) 68 Pitching Leaders ERA: Bert Dorr (STL) 2.28 Wins: Bert Dorr (STL) 24 Losses: Bob Emslie (ROC), Red Ehret (BRG) 24 SHO: Bob Black (SYR) 6 K's: Amos Rusie (TOL) 187 Injuries PHA- SS Jimmy Say (ruptured bicep tendon, 5 months) TOL- LF Marty Sullivan (torn back muscle, 6 days) Various News & Notes 7/17: Cincinnati C Lave Cross signed a 2-year extension @ $2,780 per year. Brouthers was receiving virtually no playing time in Louisville and wanted out in the worst way. In 55 games, he had registered just 75 AB with 20 runs scored. 7/17: Rochester 2B Al Myers suffered a career-ending injury against Toledo today. The 26-year old suffered a vicious knee injury that tearing all known ligaments. His career started in 1884 in the Union Association and he was apart of 4 NL teams from 1884-1890. He registered 482 hits in 2033 career AB. He also had 4 HR and 187 RBI. 7/26: Phila. Burns is still in the midst of recovering from a devastating knee injury and is still a month away from being game ready. The 25-year old spent his first 6 years with Baltimore batting .321 with 920 hits in 731 games. 8/21: Brooklyn P Larry Corcoran uncorked a pitch against Columbus today and immediately heard a snap in his arm. ![]() The New York Giants will represent the NL in the World Series as they slugged their way past the opposition all year long. The only question that remains is whether superb outfielder George Van Haltren will be ready for the start of the Series. For his career, the 36-year old has a record of 200-160 with a 2.71 ERA. 9/1: Cincinnati SS Irv Ray was beaned by a pitch today and the diagnosis wasn't good at all. It was determined that Ray suffered a skull fracture, but amazingly doctors said he would be able to continure playing ball in about 8 months. On the season, Ray batted .332 with 3 HR and 40 RBI. 9/8: Philadelphia LF George Hall signed a 1-year extension for $3,420. Obviously, the Phillies see something in the 41 year old to make a move like this. 9/18: A brawl broke out today between the Reds and Colts. It happened after Chicago P Daisy Davis drilled Cincinnati 1B Otto Schomberg in the back with a pitch. Schomberg then charged the mound and duked it out with Davis for a good 2 minutes before teammates stopped the altercation. Both players received 5 game suspensions. This is the 3rd time Davis has been suspended for fighting since 1888. 9/20: New York RF George Van Haltren will miss the rest of the regular season and some of the playoffs if the Giants were to make it there. Doctors say he strained a bicep tendon while throwing a ball. ![]() *BROOKLYN FOLDED* Unless the St. Louis Browns suffer a historic collapse, it looks like the pennant is all theirs. They play Toledo in a key 3 game series on the 4th, 5th, and 6th of the month. They also play 8 games at home while Toledo must play out their final 10 games all on the road. The only other storyline to follow is whether St. Louis pitcher Bert Dorr or Toledo's young hurler Amos Rusie will capture the Cartwright Award for best pitcher. It doesn't have much effect on the team as they were out of the pennant long ago.

1890 FINAL Standings: National League & American Association
![]() ![]() *BROOKLYN FOLDED* Toledo was unable to catch St. Louis in the standings. In their key 3 game series against St. Louis, Toledo won 1 game, but blew the lead in the 9th in the other 2 games. After those 2 heartbreaking defeats, the Maumees lost their will to continue on in the season and collapsed the rest of the way.

Failure!
Well I feel my experience with this dynasty has come to an end because the game keeps crashing after the playoffs are completed. It sims to the day when the playoffs are over, then the game just crashes with the OTTP error message. I've tried basically all day from backups I made earlier in the season.
If anyone has any ideas, help me out! NEVERMIND, imported to OOTP X, now it works right, very weird!
