Help, larry, did csv dump, loaded photos to C:\AU2006, ran program, showed 600+ photos loaded but when I go to game, none show up. Ran autologo with no problems, it great. Am likely missing a step, but can't figure it out. Its a 1939 historical league.

When you say it showed 600+ photos, is that what it said when you did the report?

Did you look in your image folder and see if the photos are there?

Did you download the LARGE photo file and unzip it per instructions?

BTW, download AULogo and run it and use the HISTORICAL LOGOS option.

Report shows 657 photos, looked in yearly folders and have pics, dl'd the huge file, ran autologo sucessfully, but still not getting photos.
I select 1930-1940 then hit photo, get a quick flash and it tels me 657 photos loaded, go to game to see and nothing?????

have you restarted OOTP?

Load the program and hit the PHOTO REPORT again and take a screen shot so I can see what it says...

I tried this out. I went there and ran it and everything appeared to work fine. I let it include fake photos and all that in the hopes that it would assign everyone a photo. I hit the button and it acted like it was working, said it worked. But no photos were assigned. I did the report, and it still listed them all as having no photos.

That is no help.

OK, page one.

I think you have the photos in the wrong spot. They should be in:

C:\AU2006\Photos

So, you will have a string of folders inside it:

C:\AU2006\Photos\1872
C:\AU2006\Photos\1873
C:\AU2006\Photos\1874
etc....

This one should also exist:
C:\AU2006\Photos\98

Along with:
C:\AU2006\Photos\Random

Optionally:
C:\AU2006\Photos\Custom

The year folders contain the historical pictures. You can have the same player in multiple folders. I.E. 1985 Bonds can be in the 1985 folder and the 1989 Bonds could be in the 1989 folder.

The 98 folder are short people from Japan.

The random photos are minor league players from the past (they could be real MLB players now.). This is where the random faces are plucked from.

The custom folder can be used to use your own faces. You can also download the staff file and it should be here:
C:\AU2006\Photos\Staff

That is used for the personal, coaches, doctors, scouts....

See the document file on where to download the large photo file, if you have not downloaded it.

If it is a historical league, then enter the starting date and the ending date. So, let's say it was 1939, you may want to search from 1925-1939, since some players may have started that early. If you want to use fake photos for the players that it cannot find photos for, click USE FAKE FACES. Later on, if let's say you find a picture for Spider McCoy, you can stick it in the correct year folder and run it again.

When it uses fake photos, it copies the file over as player_id.jpg, but if it finds an exact match, it copies it over as hank_aaron.jpg.

Let me know how it works out.

I deleted photos, re dl'd them, ended up with random and 98 folders and all the years but thats all.

In readme, says to create C:\AU206 folder. here u say needs C:\AU2006\Photos. does unzip create Photo extenxion?

I can not get autoface to load, do have photos loaded in proper folder, same as aulogo, which works fine. Have also runn other of your fine utilities with no problems, but no joy with Autoface??????

Do this for me:

Click on your WINDOWS START button and select RUN

(hit enter after each statement)

Type: CMD
Type: cd C:\AU2006
Type: dir /s > dir.txt

This will create a file called dir.txt. It will be located in the AU2006 folder. Send me that file at webcomedian@msn.com

This will show me the structure of the AU2006 folder so I can determine if it is correct on your system.

If you have the photos on another drive, substitute the C: with the correct drive letter.

did that larry, just keep returning to AU2006, nothing else, and copied and pasted so did it exactly as you wrote it. no results ever came up
