No knockdowns in this fight but Neill had a bloody nose that started in the 7th and continuely got worse until the fight was stopped in the 11th. Britton suffered a cut over the left eye in the 9th but it was ruled that it was caused by a head butt. I had Britton up 98-92 at the stoppage.

Title Bouts

LW (WBA) - Abe Attell (11/CH) (38-12-3) won his first Lightweight title with a TKO13 over Dave Holly (CH/6) (21-9-8). Attell had won the FW title a couple of times but had failed in 3 previous attempts at the LW crown.

It was a close fight but Holly was cut over the left eye in the 6th and it continued to be reopened until the ring doctor stopped the fight in the 13th.

I had it 124-123 Attell at the time. The official judges had it as a SD for Holly.

LW (USBA) - Kid Fredericks (18/15) (17-1-1) scored a nice UD12 win over Jack Keenan (14/18) (19-4-2) to retain his USBA LW title for the second time.

BW (WBC) - George Dixon (3/CH) (35-11-1) pretty much dominated the fight before scoring a TKO13 over Johnny Murphy (CH/3) (22-5-2) to avenge a DQ loss earlier in the year.
