Gold and Silver (I'll cover Gold again)

Gold is gonna be tough this week. I think it might spell trouble for Paxville. They continue to do ok from packs at every level apart from diamond, but somehow can't actually complete any really decent missions. It's as if the game knows just which cards not to give me

. They are a total of 60 points from completing all of TM1, but haven't finished a 10 team set yet. Most of the TM1 rewards are so mediocre that I haven't unlocked them yet, so they don't add to my 9999

. I have other missions, like Tony Fernandez 1 gold away, that are really close, and it's tantalizing being on the verge of a much better team!!

Knockemstiff have been knockedforsix since the Pedro drop... Not entirely shocking, given his team résumé, but ruined my plans none the less

. Every mission I was working towards has been affected by TM2, so I'm calling timeout for a bit. Fortunately, they got stronger last week, which they'll need to be for their continued rivalry with Coney Island

It is funny that you mention it as I have always had that opinion, too

!

I have a ton of missions that are so close to being completed and I can't land a lousy low rated card to complete them.

There are no good options in a situation like this when you are playing as Pack-Only as I'm just along for the ride!

The performance of my team at the Gold level compared to the Silver level is the difference between night and day!

Last season things were so bad for me in Gold it took 12-14 games before I was awarded any PP for game performance achievement. After several games with nothing, I starting to really wonder if I was playing in a non-PP League!

Currently in Silver, I earned four achievements within the 1st four games!

Gold League:

Obviously it's very early, but it looks like the 2 DLL victims will probably dominate in Gold this week.

I've left Cedar Rapids and Texarkana out of the standings for now, mainly because I'm anticipating that the lack of - OL tags will become a head**** as the week unfolds. Like Stanley, I'd be more than happy for them to remain on the scene, so if Vyshka wants to re-add the tags, that would be cool.

The Kops won their first three to lead, but Coney Island was dominant in heavy OL action. No teams face demotion, so far.

By the way, it's possible I may skip the standings tomorrow and Friday mornings, because I have to go into the office both days. Looking at the clock, I would have been gone ten minutes ago.

With their lone victory, the Bombers are the early pace setters.

The note in the silver standings also applies here.

. Glad I checked!

My 2 cents is-if the OL has been removed don’t count them. As someone who has done standings a lot not having the OL tag leads to mistakes and recalcs.

Yes. Since he did not respond affirmatively about wanting to remain in OL in "coast" mode, we will respect his wish to be removed. Even in absentee status, the teams need the OL designation.

The Keepers take the to the front in the nine team deep chase in silver. Still no teams in relegation danger.

Silly consolidated their position, going 8-4. Lemp Ave. fell a bit behind, only going 5-5.

The Mundys and Syrups kind of drew the short straw(s) this week.
