Mike Campbell was the brother of his Resolutes teammate, pitcher Hugh Campbell. Only 23 in 1873, he looked 10 years older owing to a gigantic set of muttonchop sideburns. According to historian William Ryczek, the two Campbells were "renowned grumblers." They came to Elizabeth from Ireland sometime between the mid-1850s and early 1860s and made their first inroads in baseball withe thuggish New Jersey Irvingtons. Hugh dies in 1881, but Mike lived in Elizabeth for some 70 years prior to his death in 1926 and worked as an express office desk clerk and manager. Did my best with this, AESP, as there is the only known picture of him. The file in the pack was 1 kb file that just moved the pointers on whatever image you last had up. Any one kb file in the pack is like this and ought to be deleted. Shown is the after screenshot, then the untouched photo and then my first fg attempt (I cut out pieces of his neck and dropped them into his face to remove the shadows on the left cheek) and then the second fg attempt which informs the final fg. That second fg was made by looking for someone on the internet that looked like the first fg. Then, with a better starting place, I sculpted all the sliders to what the first fg gave me. In the end, to make the mustache part of his "Chester A. Arthur" look go wide instead of down, I had to also widen his chin and jaw more than I'd like and clean it up. But overall, this is what I believe our young Elizabeth Resolute first baseman looked like.... at least from a distance...

Now this is what I call a great job! Thanks for giving more than a try for someone that no one ever heard about except us the rare one who play 19th century baseball with their game...

There are some more fun to have if you check the "couldn't do him even with a picture" names who shown up in my after year missing in action list.

1875 was long to start... I simulate the seasons before creating the FG and 1875 (like 1884 and 1890) is a season I must work on the schedule to make it works.
