I think you're right, a Diamond exception seems fair, particularly the way PT has been shaking out this year, so Lemp Ave. will get their crown.
The only proviso is that all three diamond teams must have 10 or more OL games. Also, we won't go any lower than three teams, or to other levels, which are much easier to populate.



They will also be eligible for the McCarthy Plaque and the Wooden Spoons Trophy. However, I will not be going back to look for other weeks they had less than four teams. The new exception starts this week.

I'm guessing we won't be getting anything, so I'll just wrap up the awards after this post. It has been disappointing that the lower levels have been so lax, but I guess it's fairly likely that the owners have become disinterested. Ah well. It just makes it tough for newer teams, like San Francisco and Seattle, to hook up with the league. I hope they can keep their enthusiasm while they wait.

Make sure your team and San Francisco are paired on the friends list. Hopefully that will be enough if you also have the other teams listed and they miss you.

I added San Francisco last week in anticipation, but I'll double check everything in a bit.

Cary lost the wildcard, so everyone is staying in Gold, except Cedar Rapids and Kaipo will be relegated to Silver.

The Diamond 363 Championship will be the OL vs the BFF, as seen by the current playoff configuration. So an OL team will be playing in the Diamond Championship very soon.

Left Coast and Bluffton, the lone OL representatives, are both out of the playoffs. Bluffton will be promoted to Silver.

On the other end, West Burlington and Route 66 will travel down to Iron.

Left Coast, hoping to be able to move from bridegroom to bride, or something like that, announce the improvement of Pete Rose to Perfect and, through that, the addition of Johnny Queto to the starting rotation.

Except for the two OL teams battling each other for a spot in the D363 Series, all the league assignments for next week are set. There are four other OL teams still alive in the PT playoffs. I'll check back in a couple of hours to see if we will have a team in perfect next week, and to , hopefully post PT hardware for 2036. Good luck to all those still playing.


Be sure to check your list, because there was a decent amount of movement this season. Make sure you've selected use friends list and submit your team, twice. Let's not miss anyone.
