It's related to copying your views over from previous versions.

My 2026 Season Expanded after the season, and those expansion teams do not have an option to create Alternate Uniforms (OOTP26 did). I also noticed that when you create a Home set and an Away set, the program makes both the same (in other words the uniform you create last is the one you get). Bug perhaps?

I'm guessing this would qualify as a cosmetic issue. This has been happening since I downloaded the OOTP 27 and seems to be related to weather. The field will start out clean but as the players run around they are followed by a trail until the field is covered as you see in the screenshot I attached. I say it's related to weather because it almost always rains during the game when this happens. Sometimes, when a new inning starts late in the game it clears up by itself. I am not very computer savvy so if you post a fix try to make it step by step. I haven't seen where any one else is having this problem so I'm guessing it may be on my end.

It's not clear to me how to fix--there is a mention of a /players folder that might have been overwritten, but how do I revert it. NOTE, I did not copy over any folders manually, but the save IS an import of an OOTP26 game.

Unsure if related, but when I start a Spring Training game, I get a message saying

File Missing. Please update your data directory. Game will play using simple audience.

Thanks. Looking there, I notice that I never had a /pants directory. Is it new? Were we pantless all this time? Interestingly, trying to regenerate new pants doesn't solve the issue.

The file missing error did not appear the last game I played, so perhaps that healed, and now we're just in the pants issue?

It's the ballparks/models folder that might need to be repointed if still pointing to an old edition of the game. The models and other things in the /misc and other not-literally-parks folders need to be using the OOTP27 editions of the files therein.

The home/road in-game display data for the batter/pitcher is not correct. The data (bottom line) is only ever correct for the pitching team. See attached screenshots showing the home batter but with data for 'road' and the road batter but with data for 'home'.

Be damned if I understand why the ballpark model impacts the pants structure, but pointed the 3dModels to the current version and, boom, pants are back to normal. I kind of miss the weird donuts, but still ...

When selecting a previous year to look at pitching stats leaders, the WAR total for current year is displayed instead of the selected year's WAR total. For example, in the image attached, you'll see that I'm looking at the pitcher leaderboard for 1997 and the WAR total displayed next to the pitcher is his total from the current year 2006. The same is true for all pitchers on the leaderboard. Seems like a small typo in the code. Name: wrong_war.jpg

In ./Out of the Park Baseball 27/data/jersey_fonts/, most alternative font should be called "some_team_alt_0.ktx" instead of "some_team_alt0.ktx" considering how the game expects it.
Example: "new_york_yankees_alt_0.ktx" instead of "new_york_yankees_alt0.ktx".

I tried to make my font smaller in settings but it only changes some things. The font for team batting leaders and team pitching leaders did get smaller as you can see. My problem is the font for the last game never changes as the team record overlaps the line score. Also the font for team roster and team injuries didn't change. My resolution is 1920 x 1080. Sorry if this has been reported before.

Each skin contains these images: es_background_1, es_background_2, and es_background_3, each of which can be replaced with images of your own. First, you need to download the skin files; second, replace one or more of the background files; and third, delete the skin.bin file so that the next time OOTP loads, a new skin will be generated with your replacement images. Each time you install a new patch, you'll need to delete the skin.bin files. I've got three custom images for each skin (nine in total). For example:

Nice. I have been trying to this and now I know how. Thanks. All we need now is a fix to the narrator not reading the tts_pronunciation .txt file

The home and road data is still not correct after yesterday's update. This is a game in Atlanta and it only shows the correct data for the pitching team. The batting side is always wrong with regards home and away data (the bottom line for each player's data.)

Not sure if this goes here.

The classic color scheme on the scores screen was changed for v27. Please change it back or at least change the colors so they're more readable. The score boxes color is too dark for a black font. It violates the cardinal rule of no dark fonts on dark backgrounds. If one wants to see a black font clearly, you put it on a light background. The other light and dark skins are fine, but my preference is 'classic'. So now I have to use the dark skin, when I much prefer to use classic. I don't who else feels way, but I hope there's enough to warrant a color change for the classic scheme.
