Zorro rides again, My wife went out to dinner with her girl friends. It might cost me 400 dollars but I am free. I got to see two wonderfully played games by Wilmington and myself and all I can say is, It is a true shame two fine teams like this have to be in the same Division. We are both having very solid years and it is a shame only one of us can win the Division.🤷*♀️

Hmmm....I have the worst offense in the league all season so far, play 4 at 1st place Dragons and sweep them, scoring 34 runs in 4 games. I guess this happened...just because? Was it time for some random randomness?

I'm hoping 20 doesn't feel as "scripted" as 19 feels sometimes...if that makes any sense. That really saps some of the enjoyment out of the game for me.

Just some thoughts as I check on my team.

I have three players with an OPS above .700 for the month of August. I have four players with an OPS below .300. I am surprised that I am 4-8 - was thinking it should be 0-12.

I’m at the card shop picking up some Topps 1962 cards but my Saints were holding their own an hour ago.

That was a GREAT year. All the big guns had a good season including my main man Willie. 😁

I picked up about 100 cards, now it’s a big cold beer at the VFW club waiting for my take out pizza....it’s my Friday routine after work.

Quite few but also Billy Williams, Norm Cash and a bunch of all star cards like Drysdale, Mazeroski and Spahn....there were some good cards in there.

My players must hate me. The way I play the game I never get more then 1 All Star for the All Star game. Usually a pitcher. 😁

Well Zorro... way to get a good guy down. Just read the write up of how your pitching shut down RufusMeadows' Trout and killed his 26 game hitting streak. Man, guy sounds so down now. Mean.

I'm seriously considering not upgrading to Perfect 2.0. because I fear I have spent all my luck for the next few months.

Has half of the league quietly spent a few hundred dollars in between seasons? Because I have no idea why neither of my teams cannot play a month over a .400 winning percentage. I have no idea why Vern Stephens has gone from a 5-6 win player to below replacement level on pace for less than 1/3rd the number of HR he normally hits. Almost every single player I have is having the worst season they've ever had by far. I'm not spending any more money on this and have nothing to replace anyone on my roster and not enough PP to make a single upgrade.

I'm also not wasting the PP I have on packs.

There, now I feel better. Rant over.

Oops, I really do hate to end hitting streaks.
