I gave up all the perfect Pedros in my first divorce, but am a part of a much better team now.

Ok, if it is too much to write, just post an image. No, not of your wife...

Well it took forever and a whole lot of tinkering but I might have finally turn the tide. I changed about everything but my underwear to get a little cohesiveness on this club.

It is way to many to write. I am weird because I have them set for every spot and score and I change them as I change my team. I work on them a lot depending on who I have on my active roster which changes every month (Day)of games. Orcin, I would have to upload 6 or seven pictures and they would only be good for this lineup. I change them daily like I do my players when they do not perform. Sometimes I have more of a running team going on and sometimes I have all individuals set who are hot or cold or....It just goes on and on. Well now my wife says it’s time to go to dinner. I wanted to get drunk earlier but My team is better now so I will just go get slouched a little.😁

The only ones I never change from default are Sac Bunt, Squeeze Bunt, Pitch Around, Intentional Walk, and Infield In. Everything else is changed at some point depending on the score and/or inning.

Only set one offensive player differently and that's Eddie Collins Jr because his Avoid K is lower than anyone else in the lineup, I'd rather him not be as involved in the Hit & Run so his H&R slider is under half but his other sliders match the team sliders.

I tend to back way off on infield in because I am willing to give up a run for two outs most of the time, and my DP combo can turn it. I do have infield in more often "close and late".

I feel like my team is playing better after some changes but I am afraid to write about it because I don't want to jinx them. Big series coming up with Virginia Beach, so we will see.

Yes, I am so afraid of saying anything also. In fact I just got home and I am afraid to look and see if we are still rolling or............I have to look but......I want to be able to sleep tonight so please......Let it be a win or two before I shut it down for the evening. 🤞

Before joining the Mini whale I was one win from the Perfect World Series, but Bob Gibson's 2 fielding errors cost me the Game 7. Now I am having trouble getting to 500 ball.

Kudos to Orcin putting together a competitive league.

Now I have to figure out how to start winning. I think I will take Zorro's advice and scrap Trout? He can cover a lot of ground in CF, but can't throw, and he hit 250 or below.

I haven't looked, so this might be dumb but who do you have in LF? He can train up to GG level there. Now the .250 average is another matter.

Sorry my friend. I felt bad when I vented to you about Trout. Who am I to rant about someone else’s player. We all play our game different and no one is right or better then the other. I like you and that is all that really counts. I should have never gave my opinion of Trout. It was just one mans opinion of moonlight. 😁

Actually I think you were right. He has hr power against righties and covers CF, but I am lucky if he hits 230. For a perfect player he underperforms in this game.

I'm going to end the month of July having faced a lefty starter once in 24 games. Crazy how stacked this game is against LHP.

The top four batters in WAR in our league are Trout, Trout, Lindor, and Trout.

How about his OBP rate. My average usually lacks behind as well but he gets on base enough to play in a different spot. Don’t put him in the 3-5 spot. He will usually underperform and not bring people home. He is better when he can get walked on base and is then followed by a good contact hitter.

It is hard to find lefty starters in our league. Essentially there are only three to consider:

96 Kershaw
86 Keuchel
100 Randy

As you mentioned, the 97 Randy is already on the border of not being able to make it unless he pitches in the bullpen.
Gone are the days of 4-5 lefty starters.
