There was a surprise for the agency a couple of days ago when we were contacted by the Hanshin Tigers of the Japanese League saying they were interested in our player Juan Campos.

We very quickly got our Japanese office to follow up the interest and they were able to work out a deal.

This deal sees Juan Campos move from Mexico to Japan to join the Hanshin Tigers. His contract is for 1 year at $1,500,000.

Here is hoping he makes a good go of it and can become a star in the Japanese League.

Spent 4 years in GTMO as a kid - some of my favorite memories. My little league baseball coach was a Cuban who walked the gate every day. We were the Tigers. Love this.

We at the World Baseball Agency are always looking for ways to make money for our players. In the case of In-Su Chu we have found out about a talent that we are hoping to exploit to the full.

This talent is with his voice as he and a group of his old school friends perform in a swing band in Korea. We have managed to get a couple of music executives to look the band over during the off season and one of them has decided to sign his band up.

He spoke to the press about it and here is the report.

Shiroma Hisato has been doing some publicity for his career to get his face out in Japan. We have managed to set him up to take part in the Japanese Fantasy football team draft for the year.

MLB starts its spring training today and there was some big news for some of our players.

Kelford Clark will have a full spring training this year to get himself in shape with the Detroit Tigers.

Billy Edwards is with the Houston Astros trying to make the first team squad for this year.

Dan Hurt has been called up as part of the Philadelphia Phillies 60 man training squad. He is hoping to earn himself a place on the 40 man roster.

Gabriel Eskola has joined the 60 man training squad of the San Francisco Giants and has the aim of making the 40 man roster.

Bart Snyder is with the Kannapolis Intimidators for the spring training period

Luis Elizondo has been moved up to the Carolina Mudcats for Spring Training.

Shiroma Hisato is with the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles trying to get fit for a second run at the Japanese championship.

Nishikiri Shoda is getting his first taste of the Japanese spring training with the Saitama Seibu Lions. He is hoping to earn his spot on the 28 man roster.

Gabriel Eskola has been sent to the AAA Sacramento Rivercats by the San Francisco Giants. He is also not in the 40 man roster.

This has made him rule 5 draft eligible for the end of the season.

Spring Training is over and our MLB players now know where they are going to start the season.

Kelford Clark is with the Detroit Tigers 25 man roster but has been moved to the bullpen as the teams closer instead of a starter. He is hoping to make the new job his own and help the team towards the play offs.

Dan Hurt had an excellent spring training period and has played his way onto the Philiadelphia Phillies 25 man opening day roster. His is slated to be the lead of hitter for the team and also the teams Short Stop.

We were hoping to get at least 1 more player into the MLB but had to settle for 3.

For the others it is another season in the Minors
