That's a coin flip for me, both would work well.

Some ideas for Henderson:

Henderson Heat - It is in Nevada
Henderson Miracles - Henderson was founded in the 40's during WW2 where they built a magnesium plant and magnesium was dubbed "the miracle metal"
Henderson 53s - After the war ended and magnesium was no longer needed in such quanties Henderson as a city almost folded but with the state and local people working hard the city was incorporated and saved in 1953
Henderson Explosion - In 1988 the PEPCON rocket fuel factory caught on fire and exploded which totaled the factory and sent shockwaves throughout the city and up the Las Vegas Valley
Henderson Desert Dogs - Being in the desert
Henderson Ducks - There is a Duck Creek located near the city of Henderson
Henderson Monsoon - They get sudden flash floods and torrential storms in the summer

I am really struggling on a league logo too. I want something simple, yet "iconic" that can really represent the league. I think I am going to use a shad of red/cream/blue or red/white/blue. The cream screams more of a classic vintage vibe. Not sure if I want a baseball diamond/shield/roundel or what but here is something I came up with. Not sure I am sold on it yet. Also I don't want it to be super busy either.

Oh and I'd like to make something that can be easily modified to fit AAA, AA, and A to a certain degree.

you should turn it into a rectangle shape instead of circular. It might look better

As Texans are very proud of their state, and the colors and culture I wanted to keep the themes for Majors/AAA/AA/A similar to represent this. With saying that I was actually already in the middle of doing this team and I had planned on Austin Outlaws. It sounds cool and the logo goes well with the overall picture!

Rochester:

Rochester Flowers - I know not very intimidating but they are called the "Flower City" and they hold an annual Lilac Festival to celebrate that
Rochester Academics - The region is known for its many acclaimed universites and higher education
Rochester Colonels - The city is named after Colonel Nathaniel Rochester
Rochester Lions - In the early 1800's the city was known as "the young lion of the west"
Rochester North Stars - Abolitionist Frederick Douglas founded the abolitionist paper The North Star in the city in 1847

So I think I am going to go this route for the ABA. Here is the main logo with the Eastern League and Western League logos. I can easily adapt them for AAA, AA, and A also!
