Is anyone else having trouble with the "shop player around" function in this set? No matter which player I shop, no team will offer a one-for-one trade.

Had the same problem, try turning trade difficulty to average rather than hard.

hey, I downloaded the trial version of 2007... do I need the full to use these rosters? or do I just not know where to copy the file to?

Matty- it should open in the demo; if you can find one of your other saved games, be sure you put this one in the same folder. Also be sure you've unzipped the file before you start.

Rosters look awesome... just awaiting the new update.

Quick questions... is there a way to incorporate one of the current templates with this roster set (ie Real World Baseball) or do you have to add your own feeder leagues (College and High School) to Cubby's set-up.

They are they guys from the first year draft, you will notice you cant offer them a contract if you try pre draft.

Not sure if this is known, but some players cards still go 2006, 2005 in the stats, while others go 2005, 2006.

Also, are real life stats still on the player cards or did history replace that?

I'll have a look at that later. I'll check my algorithm for writing back the file - I'm assuming that the game does some ordering as the history page is correctly ordered. There may be some field I don't know the meaning of that is used for internal ordering (the same reason as why I can't get the Major League to the top at the moment, but I'm thinking about a way to manage that)

If I manage it, I'll send it over to Cubby later this evening.

Dola,

Have got the leagues in the correct order in the dropdown, have sorted the player page display of years to be 2004,2005,2006 (if they exist that is) and changed all the years in the sim-to-events list to 2007.

I'll zip the file up and get it put up so Cubby can download it later today - just fixed it before going out - sorry!

or maybe not totally. everybody has moved up one nation in their nationality - all US players are Ugandan, all Japanese are Icelandic. I'll have to see what's going on there.

Fantastic job Cubby, I am playing with the set that was first released, can someone tell me what advantages I will get if I download the latest version, or what is anticipated in modifying the current set. Im not being impatient, I could quite happily play with what I have, just wondering if the pack will include stadium pics, Japanese roster full minors etc like it was boasting.

Cheers for all the hard work, and as I said Im more than content now, anything else is a bonus

So is the current release "safe" enough to go ahead and begin a franchise or should I wait? What difficulties am I going to run in to.

Not Big. I noticed this. Not sure if there's a reason for it. Maybe, it's on the radar. So please excuse me pointing it out if either of these is true.

On the financial page of certain teams I noticed that certain teams have Player Expenses listed as $0. The teams are:

White Sox
Cubs
Indians
Tigers
Astros
Yankees
Pirates
Sf Giants
Cardinals
Devil Rays
Blue Jays
Nationals

Great Set though. Playable for sure. I'm very excited to see the end result.

Muzamba: I PM'd you about the help you were asking for on Histories. Not sure if you still need it, but I have some time at the start of this week. PM me back.

My game crashes every time the date reached 2-1-07. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm guessing its probably a problem with scouts like before, still haven't tested anything out with scouts on.
