Actually I wish Swisher would quit trying to rip into one. He needs to concentrate on actually touching the ball with his bat first, then hitting it far second.

The trainer better check Street for a neck strain after he had to watch that one go.

Oh, and anyone that knows the rules: Isn't Street's delivery illegal, with his foot coming off the rubber for a moment and all?

Ugh. Way to put the game out of reach, Street.

Nevermind to my question. Of course it's not illegal. Most pitchers do lift their foot off during their windup, including me in high school. I don't know why my brain just farted that badly.

Good ol' Macha.

Pinch hitting for the ****stain, good. Pinch hitting for him with the worst hitter on the team, aside from Kiger, bad.

You'd rather see Dan Johnson? (Keilty is not an option when batting left handed, IMO.)

Yes, because both of those guys are more likely to get on base. I'd rather see Bocachica, too. Probably even Kiger, but I've never seen him so I won't go quite that far.

Another walk and a fly ball to the warning track and we can be sure this is gas can himself.

Bradley due for one of those typical A's first-pitch swinging outs here.

How about a Milton Bradley HR to tie it and a walkoff from the Big Hurt.
