Romy,
I picked American Airlines Arena as a home venue for you and a flag image. Feel free to change them and I'll update my records. Dave..........thanks once again for the leaders list. |

I can't stand the city of Miami but American Airlines Arena is fine and the team flag is cool as well. For my cornermen I'll take the same team we got on the BT Bombers and ring girl I've decide to go with Keira Knightley.

Sorry...
It seems like I will not be able to update the site for the meantime due to me being busy with work.
Also, it seems my team is still stuck on being the 2nd lowest in the silver division lol and my next 2 matchups are against the 2nd, and 1st ranked team in my division too... so things don't look so bright right now lol

0-4, sixth of seven. Not exactly what I had in mind ...
Brazilian Barbarians (vistaman) HW (7)Michael Dokes 5-3-0 (3) (6)Joe Mesi 6-2-0 (5) Mesi overachieving, but I'll take it! LHW (11)Bob Foster 7-0-1 (7) (5)Mike Rossman 2-5-1 (1) About what I expected here. MW (7)Robert Villemain 2-6-0 (0) (6)Vito Antuofermo 0-6-2 (0) Ugly! Antuofermo a huge disappointment. WW (5)Angel Espada 2-4-2 (0) (6)Johnny Greco 4-3-1 (4) Didn't expect better than .500, and not getting it. LW (5)Ernesto Espana 2-6-0 (2) (8)Art Aragon 3-4-1 (2) Aragon is killing me. Expected way more. FW (3)Richie Lemos 1-7-0 (0) (8)Ruben Olivares 7-1-0 (6) Like LHs, about what I expected. Olivares, Foster lead team. BW (4)Paul Ferreri 0-8-0 (0) (9)Gilberto Roman 4-4-0 (1) Needed some points here, but Roman disappoints and Ferreri winless! Fly (3)Netrnoi Sor Vorasingh 1-6-1 (1) (4)Freddie Castillo 2-5-1 (2) No surprise. Knew I had little chance in the flys. Need a good draft "next year." Time to rebuild/trade.

MexiVilles (mh2365)
(cap points = 98) HW (8)Wladimir Klitschko 4-4-0 (4) (5)Mike Weaver 3-5-0 (2) 6 out of the 7 wins by KO .. pretty much what I expected here although I didn't think they'd be under .500 LHW (6)Marvin Johnson 4-4-0 (4) (4)Daniel Judah 1-6-1 (1) Johnson doing what I expected ... Judah blows MW (6)Mustapha Hamsho 5-3-0 (1) (5)Herol Graham 2-4-2 (0) Hamsho performing well ... graham is doing decent in a tough division WW (9)Marlon Starling 7-1-0 (1) (5)Honey Mellody 5-3-0 (1) Very happy at WW LW (10)Alexis Arguello 6-2-0 (4) (7)Jorge Paez 3-3-2 (1) didn't expect two losses for arguello at this point, but this is his 10 rating not his 13 ... Paez has been disappointing FW (8)Barry McGuigan 7-1-0 (3) (5)Antonio Rivera 4-4-0 (3) McGuigan has been great ... rivera did wee in his first week for me BW (7)Veeraphol Sahaprom 4-4-0 (1) (4)Rodolfo Martinez 2-4-2 (1) Was hoping for a .500 record here Fly (6)Pitchit Siriwat 3-4-1 (1) (3)Dennis Adams 3-4-1 (1)[/QUOTE] better than I expected esp. with Adams I will give up my first round pick for a second round pick and a 7 or over fighter that is at least a 3 rating step up for me. Still offering the Judah for Czyz deal to Claybor. |

You're doing pretty ...
... well so far. Very impressed with Hamsho in the league's toughest weight class. Sahaprom, Marv Johnson and Klitschko holding their own.

Tomato City (Romultiltus)
(cap points = 96) HW (10) George Chuvalo 7-1-0 (5) (6) Randall Cobb 4-4-0 (2) Chuvalo's only loss was a TKO on cuts. Cobb had a good Rnd 4. He takes a good beating... LHW (7) George Gardner 5-2-1 (2) (6) Billy Fox 6-2-0 (4) Pretty happy about the LHW's so far... MW (8) Gomeo Brennan 2-2-4 (1) (6) Anton Raadik 5-3-0 (2) Tough division. Disappointed a bit w/ Brennan, but Raadik has fared better than I expected... WW (8) Oba Carr 5-3-0 (1) (5) Fausto Rodriguez 3-5-0 (3) Carr is coming around after a tough start. Rodriguez is doing about what I expected... LW (5) Mando Ramos 5-2-1 (3) (3) Steve Murray 2-6-0 (0) Big surprise w/ Mando Ramos - very happy. Any win by Murray is just a bonus... FW (9) Terry McGovern 7-1-0 (6) (7) Patrick Ford 4-3-1 (2) So far, one of my better performing divisions... BW (5) German Ohm 1-6-1 (1) (4) Eddie Cook 3-5-0 (1) Bad, bad, bad... I definately need to shore up the BW's in the draft... Fly (3) Fritz Chervet 0-8-0 (0) (4) Gilberto Gonzalez 5-3-0 (4) 5 wins for Gonzalez is a big surprise. Chervet is averaging only 2 Rnds a fight - all KO/TKO losses. (He's probably the first guy I'm going to dump) |

I'm thinking of using a different Bear in my flag than the one in my avatar.
I'm in the process of getting my wife a customized teddy bear that will look something like this boxing bear. Bear |

The problem with Chervet is that his absorb punishment rating is 23. In the thread I started about Jackie Callura Jim Trunzo responed that no fighter should have an absorb punishment rating above 4. See
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...58#post1811758 If you follow the thread you'll see that there is an error in Chervet's db rating, not that this will help you very much. Bear Quote:

Pending approval from the commissioner, Tomato City would like to sever ties with FLY (3) Fritz Chervet and replace him on the roster with (3) Carlos Murillo from the draft pool.
Compiling an unimpressive 0-8 record, all losses by KO/TKO, and the fact that a bug has been discovered in his "Absorb Punishment" rating (23), I would like to substitute w/ Carlos Murillo. Just for ha-ha's, I changed his "Absorb Punishment" rating from 23 to 5 (the worst allowable rating) and his overall rating increased from "3" to "6". In light of this, I suggest that Fritz Chervet be retired from the league. It just wouldn't be fair to have an 0-8 fighter suddenly double his overall rating. I wish this could have been caught earlier, so that a change could have been made. Maybe a different "3" could have squeaked out a win or a couple of draws in the 4 rounds completed. My own fault for not catching this and will have to live with it. |

With that '23' he would only stand an even chance against tomato cans and maybe not even that.

I wish this would have been detected before the start of the league. Along with my apology for not catching this, Murillo is a member of Tomato City immediately. I will change Fritz's AP to 3 which will make his overall rating a 6 and place him in the draft pool. He will be available for draft at the end of the season.*Another note* Flyweight Dennis Adams of the MexiVilles has a recovery rating of 21. According to his history, it has not affected the outcome of any of his fights yet. After the season is over, I will change his recovery to a 2 which will make his overall rating a 6. I've went through the fighters we are currently using in the league and draft pool and have found no other errors. I will double check any new fighter before he enters the league from this point forward. Hopefully this will not happen again. |
