In almost every division except the AL West, baseball races are heating up. Baltimore holds a ½ game lead over New York & Tampa Bay. Mets & Phillies are tied. DBacks hold a slim 2 game lead over San Diego. Steve Arashikage is contending for a Triple Crown.

Hope Jedi lead the Light Side by 5 games while Monument Plaza has a slim lead over Veren. Wildcard races in both leagues are tight.

Atlantis has caught up with Endor City.Bird City & Cloud City are just a ½ games apart. The National League is just waiting for the NLCS at this point. Joe Parks is hitting .440.Doug Didich is contending for a Triple Crown.

Things have turned around the last 2 weeks. The stagnant offense has started to ramp it up and with a 14 game lead over Corvair it gives me some play room options with the lineup and rotation. I demoted Dom DeBoer to the pen and put Paul Maclean in the rotation. Deacon Peabody has missed the last 2 weeks and I recalled 2B Bobby Avalon from AAA. He has struggled so far but Deacon will be back next week.T.J. Burke has finally started to hit. I am still concerned with our offense vs LHP and since Glenbard has 5 LHP starters it will be a challenge the rest of the season to get some players to start hitting vs lefties. Tim Waters & Harold Walker have been lights out recently.

July should be fairly easy although it will start out tough with series vs Corvair and Endor City. Corvair may be a long way back but they play us well. Delagdo, Chevy & Atlanta will not be a challenge. We do end the months vs 3 good teams.

This years All Star game will be played at Calrissian Place in Cloud City, Bespin. Many 1st year All Stars this year like Katey Casey, Bill Wyatt, Kevin Durbin, Jose Geraldo, Maggie Simpson, Kanothai Wilhelm, Seriozha Saatchyan, J.J. Wellington, Michael Peters, Corey Giles, Dallas Wilborne, James Jamieson, Charles Foster Kane III, Nick Barthel, Arthur Dimmesdale, Ken Rosler & Slash.

No matter what I tried we could not beat the American League. Some of the leagues best starters got shelled, including my 2 guys. i was shorthanded on the offensive side also with just 1 Catcher, 2B, SS & 3B available. Now those starters are among the best the game has to offers but would have liked to have more depth. Bart Simpson had a great game to get the ASG MVP. Hopefully I can manage the NL All stars again next year.

Well the 1st half is over and has been mostly uneventful. Some teams are completely out of the race while others will get healthier in the 2nd half and may have a chance at getting back in the race. The National League is all but decided although Ford seems to have injury issues and Corvair is stacked. Best race to watch will be Endor City vs Atlantis. Both teams are favored to win the Battle of Endor, only one can win the division though.

As we enter the 2nd half, we have some major and minor injury issues. Stan Pearl will miss 4 more weeks, 5 weeks total. That is a big part of our offense and one of only a few players who can hit LHP. Toni Kline will miss 3 days with heart palpitations. I am sending her to Pitunia Medical Center in Endor City to see Dr Lifeline. Deacon will be back during the Endor City series which will help out a ton. I can move Brian Mack back to DH and Deac will play 2B. Bobby Avalon will most likely go back to AAA. I have to trade someone to try to get a hotter who can play multiple positions and hit LHP. Staying healthy in the 2nd half will be key for us.
The Higgins Brothers have told me now that I will have yearly goals to achieve one of which is resigning Arthur Dimmesdale. They are gonna hate me. I have Lee Perez & Lee Fernando in the minors, one of which can be a future CL. They want me to acquire a Gold Glove winner by 2025, we will see.
I hired an Assistant General Manger to help will day to day chores. I hired Shawon Dunston, why Dunstan you ask? Why not plus he is one of my all time favorite players. It was between him and Tom Maddon. Shawon will handle minor league demotions/promotions.
