To people using these in OOTP24 for your historical replays: the location of these (and other workshop) files themselves are different from past editions of OOTP if you have the Steam version of OOTP24.
Downloading/installing still works the same, but check out the file location when you're in the Steam OOTP24 workshop:
-Drive where your Steam library is / Stem Apps / Workshop / Content / (long #'d folder) / another, longer numbered folder/ Custom data / Ballparks / Models.
Not seeing this in my Steam version on PC with default installation and default file locations (ie I changed nothing). Workshop, for me, added the ballpark files to the ballpark folder. Created a 1970 replay league and all teams have the proper ballparks and unis. Except for Cleveland (correct ballpark but Guardian unis, as expected), that a quick name change and auto select fixes.

Are you on a non-PC version? I do not have a "Content" folder under my "Workshop" folder. My "workshop" folder is empty other than the readme file included, and the historical ballparks are all in the ballpark folder. Are you using default database locations? Otherwise no idea why mine worked and yours did not?

Subscribed, installed without issue on my end Silvam. Both your ballparks and uniforms, along with the universal facegen pack. It's a 1970 replay and there are a couple teams that have black belts that I can't seem to change using the color codes on the pants tab. Maybe these teams historically used black? I'm thinking "not" as one of them is the Dodgers @ home but blue belts on the road.
White Sox had blue as a main color but in my game black belts.

Certainly not a game breaker and maybe they are as they should be? In any case thank you so much for all of your hard work and providing all of us with a better game.

I looked at pics from a lot of seasons and I believe the dodgers had black belts at some times. Thanks!

OK, here is the directions for MAC USERS. These Directions for HISTORICAL STADIUMS seem to only work for versions up to, but not including OOTP24.

01.DOWNLOAD FILE at beginning of post. UNZIP. Navigate to USERS/yourname/Library/Containers/OOTPBaseball23/Data/Library/ApplicationSupport/OutoftheParkDevelopments/OOTPBaseball23

02.Then open up the folder DATABASE. MOVE the file: "era_ballparks.txt to desktop or rename it to "era_ballparks_ORIGINAL.txt.

03.MOVE the file from the zip file "era_ballparks.txt" to the folder DATABASE folder.

04.COPY or MOVE ALL STADIUMS to BALLPARKS folder.

05. RESTART game.

That should be it.

Like I said, I have tried them in OOTP 24, they seem to only be loaded manually and they aren't saved when you quit the game.

If anyone else on a MAC can add or correct anything I said, just let me know.

MOVE ALL the STADIUMS in zip file to the BALLPARKS folder.

....I am using Win 10 on a 3 yr old Dell desktop PC. I have the Steam version of OOTP 24. I was able to install the individual historical BPs that silvam loaded to the OOTP24 (Steam) workshop folder following the steps I outlined in the above post.

Hi - Is anyone having problems with the parks showing up?

The folders for either OOTP24, and/or Windows 11 are slightly different, but I thought I had it figured out. I can see the parks now as options in the dropdowns. Example an exhibition between old Yankees and Astros teams defaults to a current stadium, but I can change to the Astrodome or the old Yankee Stadium. But when I do this, playing the actual game shows the default OOTP stadium on screen, not the model of the park I've chosen.

I've used the same files in the past few years with no issues, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Maybe I'm just forgetting a step I had needed. Really want to start my historical games again, so thanks for any help!

I wish I could help you, but I use Win 10, which I think has a different interface between folders (from what I understand) than WIn 11.

FWIW, I am on windows 11 and imported the parks through the Steam Workshop. They auto-installed and have worked without any any issues.

Big Thank you!

Thank you soooo much for your wonderful work with the stadiums. I only play games from the 50s and 60s and it's such a pleasure to play the games in the old time ballparks!!

Thanks. I don't have the game through Steam though.

Sorry, I wish I had an answer for you.

I only posted because Silvam stated he was still on win 10 too, while it was stated something changed in the file structure going from win 10 to 11, or in OOTP v24.
I just wanted to let Silvam know that the mod was working on win11 via Steam and Steam Workshop even if there was some sort of file structure change.

I hear ya. I still think this is probably a "me" issue. But maybe if I don't figure it out, next year I'll get it through Steam. Thanks again

Any issues for Mac users installing these stadiums in OOTP24? I still have '23 but will be purchasing '24 soon. I've been reading that some users have had issues with the ballparks not showing up in the game, so it makes me a little wary. I'll be buying the game direct, not from Steam.

As always, Apple's sandboxing makes things a PITA. I sure wish we could have a common folder for all versions, but that's not up[ to Markus...that's Tim Cook & Co.'s doing.

For what it's worth, I haven't had any issues on Steam either.

Where's the knock-on-wood emoji?

Thanks for the info, hopefully it works ok when I buy '24. It adds so much to the game when I can play in the classic ballparks of past eras, hopefully I can still do that. Maybe I'll buy the game through Steam this year if that works better.

FWIW, I don't play historical leagues, I do purely fictional, so maybe it won't matter how I buy it.

Anybody else's infield/other parts of the stadium showing up black for some reason in OOTP 24? Is there a work around or an update for this?

looks like some of your park textures are corrupt or the .mtl file is not correct. I'll have a look at my version

I just found out that some of the stadiums that we made before would have this type of problem in 24. I don't know why yet. Still investigating.

That's Forbes Field. I have Silvam14's latest ballparks and I haven't seen anything like that.
