Great find bigMatt. I think the Fargo Express is going to do well for me, especially with all the weak lightweights in my division

Thanks jbergey for the glimpse in what could be the future. It was good to see the Mitt Slingers have 2 stars rising to the top.......Tiger & Jack. I hope they do as well when I run the fights.

Thanks for the database, Scot. You do all the work getting it ready and I get to have my fun off it, hard to beat that!

I am very surprised how much ratings still change this far into careers. For some odd reason, Walker has been a dominant fighter all of the way through yet he is ranked 7th, there are some fighters with over 50 fights and a less then 50% winning percentage ranked in the top 10.

I have auto-scheduled 4995 fights. Now I am running a 32 man round robin tourny on all of the weight classes. The results are in:

Heavyweight: No surprise here - Tied with 28 wins a piece Peter Jackson(93-7-3) and Max Schmeling(86-12-4)..I must apoligize to Ken Norton, In this initial tournament I was thinking right away with the 32 team tournament(thinking we were still at 16 teams) and forgot to put him in... He along with the two that tied in this tournement have dominated this division.

Light heavyweight:30 wins Bob Foster(92-5-2)
Archie Moore looks like a future superstar(60-14-1)

Middleweight:29 wins Mickey Walker(106-7-1)
Monzon 51-11-3 and Dick Tiger 52-19-4 look like future superstars

Welterweight-27 wins Pipino Cuevas(62-21-4)

Lightweight-28 wins Freddie Welsh(92-11-4)
a lot of young stars in the division Jc Chavez(55-10-1), Beau Jack 48-13-3..Petrolle and Corrales also look like they will be forces

Featherweight:26 wins Bernard Taylor(78-22-6) and Young Griffo(89-9-4) split a very tough division. Howard Winstone and Danny Lopez look like potential stars

Bantamweight:30 wins Alfonso Zamora(87-7-3)
Jimmy Carruthers(45-15-2) looks promising in the mediocre division

Flyweight:with 29 wins the dominant Vic Darchinyan(97-11-3)
Santos Laciar is looking good, Arce is has been dominant as well
Good to see that Lopez is doing well, I have high hopes for him. Also, Bear should be doing backflips seeing how well Pipino Cuevas is doing.

I was kind of suprised that you didn't take Mancini for one of your LWs but since you were going with a CF/PL/DEF style he didn't really fit. Plus, like you said that +6 def was going to kill him when he faced off against bangers like Edwin, Rodolfo, Artgon and the rest.

I put all the flags in the flags folder, yet they are not appearing next to the fighters. Anyone have an idea what I did wrong?

Open up the Flags folder to see if there is another folder inside containing the UTBA Flag pics. If it is there, just move the UTBA Flags out of this sub-folder into the main Images/Flags folder

(this is what happened to me when I extracted the zip file)

Decided to follow Romy with the 3 1 rated fighters. Let's see if it works. I was fooling myself thinking that 2 rated fighters were better than 1 rated fighters. So I dumped them and picked up Lamon Brewster .. Maybe two 8's in the HW division can pick up some wins for me.

Yes, I won I was worried about this match but it worked out well. Before the match I thought for sure that I would either sweep the BWs or go 3-1 and instead I go 1-3 and still won wow I won't of believed that could happen. I'm also surprised that the big guys came though and outperformed the lower weights in this match up thats nice.

Great jobs by Quarry, Siki, Lewis, Rosario, Tellez, and Bettina, especially by Rosario for taking out two Prime fighters. On the other side of the coin, Jhonny needs to pick things up there is no reason for him to lose to two lesser fighters like that. Also, I must point out my love for Ruddock and Stewart who are just two walking talking KOs waiting to happen.

I see you decided to join me in this experiment hopefully it works out as well for you in this opening round as it did for me. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out for the both of us.

I ALMOST put in for Brewster but decided to keep my trust in Matt Skelton for the time being and avoid pillaging another weight class. I hope I don't regret that decision.

Congrats to the Barbarians for grabbing first place and running their winning streak out to 6. It seems their still fighting at the same level they were at the end of last season which doesn't bode well for the rest of us in the West.

I guess that the bright spot was that my team hung in from welter up. My small guys just got taken to the cleaners. I cant believe my man Shavers lost to "Dynamite" Dokes..lol. Congrats to the Barbarians. Quite a rude welcome. This is some serious fun. Thanks for all the work Sal. You do a great job. Look forward to next week. Good game Vista. Thanks for the lesson. LOL.
