The latter two are attached.

Had this one of him a while back, shot by photographer Norman Paulson.

On the newswire picture Powell seems to be the second player from your left.

Here's another picture actually on eBay from seller mmgarchives. Watermark also...

Maybe it's just me, but this photo and the McCarthy postcard look like the same guy. And the picture from thecatspajamas and the earlier wire photo look like the same guy. But those two pairs look nothing like each other. I'm going to guess the one pair is 1955 and the other pair is 1957 (he was in service in 1956), but its just weird how different they look. Given that he signed one in each pairing, though, I'm not saying any of them aren't he. Just weird.

You're right. I noticed the same thing.

To add to your comments his Topps card, the McCarthy postcard and the picture I posted seems to be the same guy.

Maybe I'm seeing things but this looks like a fairly-well altered image of Holtzman with the A's. Apart from the piping around the neck being in the Oakland style of the early '70s rather than the Baltimore style, and the shade of orange being off - isn't that a mesa over his left shoulder? There wouldn't have been an occasion during Holtzman's two-and-a-half months with Baltimore where he would've been photographed in Arizona.

Jim Minshall

Here's somebody you don't see very often, in the latest Topps Vault stash.

Jim Minshall, probably in Spring Training '76, after he had appeared in a handful of games for the 1974-75 Pirates. Then a shot from his ill-fated attempt to make the first year roster of the Mariners at spring training 1977:

Correct on all counts, as far as I can tell. When Cheech can't find a color image that he likes of a player he prefers to ask someone to Photoshop an hat and/or uniform rather than use a B&W photo. This is one of those occasions.

Johnny Wyrostek

Outfielder, Johnny Wyrostek spent the bulk of his career with the Phillies (1946-47, 1952-54) and the Reds (1948-1952).
He made the National league All-Star team with the Reds in 1950 & 1951 and he
led the NL in Outfielder Putouts for the Phillies in 1946

Willie" Puddin'Head" Jones

Willie "Puddin Head"Jones came out of South Carolina to become
one of the finest third basemen of his day and enjoyed a 13 year tenure
with the Philadelphia Phillies (1947-1959). He smacked 190 career
home runs and over 1,500 base hits. He was a better fielder than a hitter,
however, and was one of the best fielding 3Bs of his day. Unfortunately,
he had his best years before the Gold Glove Award's inception in 1957.
He played on 2 losing World Series teams: ('50 Phillies & '61 Reds) and
like J. Wyrostek, he made the 1950 and '51 NL All-star teams.

Mel Clark (1926-2014).

Mel Clark, a fine hitting reserve outfielder for the Phillies between
1951 and 1955 passed away at age 87 on May 1. After service
with the US Navy during WWII, Clark was signed by the Phillies
in 1947 and reached the big leagues four years later. He hit .277
lifetime with peak years of .335 in 1952 and ,298 in 1953. Clark
was a good hitter who performed well at the plate and didn't seem
to gather rust despite infrequent playing time. He was a lifelong
West Virginian.

Mike Sandlock (1915-): Oldest Living Major Leaguer

Catcher Mike Sandlock recently became the oldest living major leaguer.
He played for the Dodgers, Braves and Pirates between 1942 and 1953.
He's pictured here as a Phillie in 1954, but he failed to make that team out
of spring training and played all that season at the Phils' AAA affiliate
before retiring. He also had a Topps 1954 baseball card made of him
picturing him as a Phillie, but he never played for that team.
A lifelong Connecticut resident, Sandlock is now about 98 years, 7 months
old. Photos of Wyrostek, Jones, Clark and Sandlock in sections
21458-21461 are all from the 1954 Philadelphia Phillies yearbook.
