Bird City C Dan Hargan announced that he will retire at the end of the 2022 season.

We are on a 10 game winning streak. took 2 of 3 from Corvair, swept Atlantis, swept Chevy and took the 1st 2 from Anderson. Bill Wyatt is on a 14 game hitting streak. MR Tom Tregger is back on the team replacing Derek Self who has been DFA. Hopefully someone will claim him so he doesn't sit at AAA. Shuffled the lineup around a bit, trying to get the most out of Mack, Packer, Juan and Spear. Stan Pearl will come off of the DL in a few days. I have yet to decide if he will go on a rehab assignment or who will get sent down.

Toni is the wife of LF Calvin Kline and she is a good utility player. She can play 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and shortstop. She has been platooning with Bill Wyatt at 1B & DH the past 2 seasons. She had a great year last year and is off to a somewhat rough start this year. She is a very talented singer and actress appearing in several TV movies in the off-season. She is part of the group STS (Sarah, Toni, Stacy) and that group has had 3 top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hits so far. Her song with Scott Spear "Still I Fly" peaked at #2 in 2021. Toni missed out on the championship run last year with an injury.

5-2 this week. We had won 14 in a row before losing to Rocky Top. Having Pearl back makes a huge difference, especially with Burke struggling. Still have yet to figure where to bat everyone. I have to make a decision on DeBoer soon, he just doesn't have what it takes anymore to be a #3 starter. Not sure if Paul or Alonzo can fill the void though. The back end of the bullpen is finally coming around. Ruetecki has been great his last 4 outings.

Bill has emerged as the starting 1B this year and so far has enjoyed success. He has already had a 14 game hitting streak. Bill is a good defensive 1B who can hit for average but does lack power. He is a throwback 1B, a Wally Joyner type 1B.

Endor City continues to hold off Atlantis. The AL West has a nice 5 team race. Ford is basically at full strength and will look to extend their 2 game lead over the much injured Corvettes. No one will catch Glenbard this year.

3 games vs Cougars. We are no longer in fgear of this team. While we do respect them, the fear factor thaty they held over us is gone. They are still a great team but they are not as good as they once were.Neither Kanter nor Bellias top 92 anymore. Hughes can barely play 3B these days. While Sullivan is super human and still the best defensive NL SS he isn;t hitting as good as he did last year. They don't have the power they did last year except for Diidich. With Citizen Kane going down for Paradise City, I do not see anyone else catching Glenbard this year, so the NLCS should be us vs Glenbard again.
We are back at full strength with Deacon Peabody coming back off of the DL. Lou Bromden was demoted to AAA.
