1) It's a National Historical Site now, so they're totally renovating, refurbishing, and restoring the old stadium (I love this!) 2) You've hit everything perfectly! This is the Hinchliffe I remember! 3) The ONLY differences are in how the field was configured. In the Negro League days (with grass), the field was set up very similarly to the Polo Grounds. The in the 60s and later when they laid down the AstroTurf, that's when the field configuration went to how you have it set up. Here's some pictures of the stadium before renovation. https://www.state.nj.us/dep/hpo/1ide...Hinchliffe.pdf Bret |

Thanks again silvam14 for all you do.
Since the 1994 season was cut short and had no playoffs I decided to start the season from Opening Day to see what might have been. I used silvam14's new this year historic logos, ballcaps, jerseys, and pants for the 1994 teams along with making black shoes for all the teams. And I did use his 1992-2004 new this year Olympic Stadium in Montreal. In fact, my alternate 1994 history Expos made it to the World Series. See how silvam14's new uniforms and new Montreal park look in a YouTube game I made as it is Game Six of the alternate 1994 history World Series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uU1...el=kcstengelsr |

Sorry for such a basic question, but is there a way to have OOTP automatically recognize your 3D models and use them in the game, without having to go into the team settings, edit the ballpark, and assign the 3D model manually? I know that the names have to match the ballpark names in the database, but the game doesn't seem to be using the correct 3D models automatically, even though I've already named them correctly, placed them in the right default data folder, and used them in a previous saved game. Maybe it's because I didn't have all the files installed when I created my current game, though.

I've come out of my long dormancy on this board to say that I was the one that made the base model for Jarry Park. Here's the proof:
https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...5&postcount=87 Obviously the grass, Canadian flag, and background were added later by other people but I made the initial model. It doesn't matter to me if you decide to credit me or not but I thought I'd set the record straight. |

I did create it from scratch on my own more recently which is probably the one you are referring to. In fact I tried to recreate any historical park I may have initially downloaded at one time. Sorry about that, and thanks for mentioning.

League Park 1901-1909
I have your wonderful parks downloaded and installed and I love all of them! I have one quirk with the League Park 1901-1909 file and I'm not sure how to fix. The position of the RF is behind the large wall, so he's not visible when the play starts and if a ball comes his way, he comes running through the wall. I double-checked the park dimensions and they match what you have in the picture and the player positions seem right so I'm not sure why it works the way it is.

I believe this is one of only a couple of parks where this is an issue. Wish we could have the ability to set the default player position in the park editor

Dang, I was hoping that wasn't going to be your answer even though nothing I did with fences could make the fielder appear properly. Might have to play with the 2D view for that park. Thanks for your help!

I've noticed that home runs or fly balls hit deep down the left field line at Sun Life Stadium (Joe Robbie Stadium) can result in the outfielder ending up way past the wall and into the outfield stands. Is there a way to adjust the settings in OOTP to prevent this, or is it something that has to be addressed in the 3D model itself?
By the way, I just want to say that these 3D models and the ballcaps, jerseys and pants are the single greatest thing to ever happen in baseball sims. As someone who has played baseball sims going back to 1984, there is no comparison to the work you've done in adding to the immersion and the experience of OOTP. It's just amazing to be able to manage games with these ballparks and with proper uniforms in player profiles and on the field. |

You can check the field grid in the park editor, but my guess is that is not the case and it is just a glitch in the game that happens from time to time. I’ll check it myself to be sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey, Silvam14, will the new OOTP "animated crowd" feature interfere with your 3D models at all? I'm assuming this has been accounted for, but this new feature seems like it could interfere with the static crowds in your models. I'm just curious if you know anything at this point.
