Off Topic: Cooper is a very talented Kickboxer irl btw. If there was a cruiser-division in K1 he would have been a force to be reckoned with. |

That's where I remember the name from. I was trying to think of where I had heard the name recently. If I am not mistaken, he did some K-1 tournaments that I saw on the HD cable channel. |

Just let me know what fighters you would be interested in controlling. It would probably be best to pm me a list and I can let you know their availability. Remember, it is a heavyweight universe, but all fighters are available because in this universe, all fighters were born as heavyweights and compete in the same division. Most of the promoters pick their favorite fighters in real life. You can have up to five maximum in your stable, 4 from one region (USBA, EBU, ICBA, CABO). Also need a stable name. There are currently 5900 fighters in the universe so you can imagine that a lot of fighters have already started their careers. There will be some fighters that you will not be able to take control of because they are too far into their careers or are champions or too far up in the rankings right now. But for the most part, if there is a fighter that you are interested in, you can always take over his career at where he is currently at. After you sign fighters to a promotional contract, I will post lists of opponents for you to choose from. From there, it is just up to you as a promoter to monitor the progressions. I usually get a months worth of fights done pretty quickly. When I started with the universe, I didnt use aging, so I have continued with that aspect and you dont have to worry about scheduling too many fights. The only mandatory requirement is that a fighter has to sit out for a loss and being cut during a fight. If you want to schedule a fight with another promoters boxer, then you have to negotiate that with that promoter. I will not schedule that fight unless mutually agreed upon. I may include it in an opponents list, but it still has to be agreed upon by both promoters. I have created a lot of titles so that each promoter has an opportunity to work his fighter up through the smaller titles while trying to climb the rankings to eventually fight for a world title. No promotional team has ever fought for a world title yet, even though Joe Calzaghe and UKBG are the closest and have cracked the world top ten rankings. The only problem is that the promoter has disappeared so I dont know if Calzaghe will get that shot. Hope this info helps. Feel free to ask any questions and look forward to including you in the action. I dont know if you knew, but I did originally inquire about if you wanted to join early in the beginning of this thread when you gave me the Mason Dixon fighter file. That is how some of these guys got started here; I got a file from them and then asked passively inquired with a promotional name when I introduce their fighter into the universe. You can also choose one of your own created fighters from your thread and I will put him into the universe.

World Boxing Organization Championship
WBO Title Fight - Madison Square Garden, New York, NY, USA
[Champ] Joe Louis, USA, 22-1-0 (21) vs [WBO2/World8] Rocky Marciano, Italy, 24-4-0 (23) The champ enters this fight with an amazing record of 10-0-0 (10), 4KO, 6TKO in title fights. Louis won the WBO title in 1952-09-30 and has made 9 successful defenses. This will be Marciano's third attempt at a world title. He lost in his bid for the WBC title against Larry Holmes, but won the IBF title with a victory (KO10) over Muhammad Ali and defended that belt successfully three times. The sell-out crowd is up and cheering as both fighters are introduced. A controversial start to this title bout as the referee has deducted a point here already in the opening round to the champion, Joe Louis, for a low blow. Louis leads the round, 16-7, but the round should result in an even score with the deduction. Neither the challenger, nor the champ take time to set up their punches with jabs as major assaults are being launched with heavy artillery. Louis is asserting himself and a hard right cross puts the challenger down here in the 2nd round. Marciano is able to get up at the count of two as the bell sounds to end that round, 33-5, for Louis. Marciano seems to have recovered from the knockdown to end round 2, as both men take turns exchanging hard punches, 15-12, Louis, in a round where Marciano was warned for a low blow but not deducted a point. Marciano is immediately caught in his corner as Louis rushes out at the bell and lands a wicked right cross that sends him down for the second time in this fight with 2:39 left in the round. Marciano gets up at nine. Louis is relentless and Marciano takes a sizzling combination to the body and head and hits the canvas for the third time, the second in the round. Marciano is unable to get up and Louis claims his 10th successful title defense and 2nd victory over Rocky Marciano, thus creating more anticipation of a possible unification bout at the end of the year between Louis and Chuck "No Doubt" Norton. Winner: Louis Result: (KO4) Cards: 29-26, 30-25, 29-27, all three cards in favor of Louis Punch stats: 48-129, 37.2% Marciano - 159-285, 55.8% Louis

Commonwealth Boxing Council Championship
CBC Title Fight - Harringay Arena, London, England, UK
[CBC Interim Champion] Joe Calzaghe, UK, 19-0-0 (16) vs [CBC#1] Peter Jackson, Australia, 20-4-0 (18) (for Initial CBC Title) Calzaghe was named the interim CBC Champion when the CBC took over for the former EHBA. At the time of the organizational takeover, Calzaghe was the established EHBA Champion. Calzaghe will defend the title against the CBC's recognized, #1 ranked contender, Peter Jackson. Calzaghe starts the 1st off unusually fast, 10-4. Jackson responds with a nice 15-3, 2nd round. 18-8, Calzaghe in the 3rd. A see-saw affair sees the challenger taking the even round, 16-5. Jackson puts Calzaghe down one second before the bell sounds to end the 5th round. Calzaghe got caught unaware and Jackson landed an overhand right as Calzaghe was pulling straight back. Jackson really goes to work and punishes the champion, 25-0, in the 6th. The momentum is definitely favoring the challenger as we start the 7th round. The champion lands a body shot that backs Jackson up against the ropes. Calzaghe launches an all-out attack that and Jackson seems to be hurt. Calzaghe continues to land blow after blow and Jackson still doesnt respond. In an unbelievable momentum change, Joe Calzaghe continues his barrage of punches until the referee is force to stopped the fight with nine seconds remaining in the 7th round. Jackson and his corner plead their case but the fight has been stopped. Winner: Calzaghe Result: (TKO7) Cards: 58-55, 58-55, 59-54, all three cards in favor of Jackson Punch stats: 180-285, 63.2% Jackson - 183-468, 39.1% Calzaghe |

Asociacion Mendocina de Box, Mendoza, Capital, Argentina
Miguel Cotto, Puerto Rico, 9-1-0 (9) vs Luis Firpo, Argentina, 11-3-0 (11)
Cotto travels to Argentina to try to avenge the only loss in his career up to this point. The Wild Bull of the Pampas comes into this fight in great shape and confident that this fight will end in the same fashion as the first. Cotto lands the first punch of the fight but Firpo counters and catches Cotto off-balance, as the hometown fighter attacks the body of Cotto, 17-4, Firpo in the 1st. The crowd is still standing from the opening round as both fighters exchange in the middle of the ring. Cotto, once again, gets off first, landing a nice uppercut, but Firpo responds and ends up ahead in the 2nd, 20-15. Firpo walks into a hard right and tastes the canvas to start the 3rd. He is down again at the end of the 3rd but manages to get up on his feet and makes it to the bell. There just wasnt enough time for Cotto to finish this one. Firpo tries to hold at the beginning of the round, still trying to clear his senses as Cotto continues to bomb away. Cotto lands heavily that round, 21-5, but it looks as though Firpo may have regained his composure. A three punch combo puts Firpo down again at the beginning of the 5th, and he is unable to get up this time. Miguel Cotto comes to Argentina and exacts the revenge that he wanted with a devastating and impressive KO victory tonight. Winner: Cotto Result: (KO5) Cards: 39-35, 38-36, 38-36, all three cards in favor of Cotto Punch stats: 84-142, 59.2% Firpo - 110-230, 47.8% Cotto Edgardo Jose Romero, Argentina, 3-0-0 (1) (UD15) Jose Serna*, Argentina, 0-1-0 Francisco Risiglione, Argentina, 4-1-0 (1) (KO8) Miguel Angel Pacheo* Argentina, 1-0-0 (1) Dario Walter Matteoni, Argentina, 4-1-1 (4) (TKO6) Antonio Nevarez*, Argentina, 1-0-0 (1) Carlos Monzon, Argentina, 1-0-0 (1) (KO2) Alejandro Heredia*, Argentina, 0-1-0 Jorge Castro, Argentina, 5-0-0 (5) (TKO9) Lupe Gallegos*, Argentina, 0-1-1 Fabio Moli, Argentina, 10-7-0 (7) (TKO15) Johnny Cipry, Argentina, 5-9-0 (1) Santiago Alberto Lovell, Argentina, 14-7-0 (12) (KO7) Mario Oscar Melo, Argentina, 7-8-1 (3)

Bally's Atlantic City, Atlantic City, NJ, USA
[45] Jose Napoles, Cuba, 9-1-0 (8) vs [27] George Foreman, USA, 17-5-0 (17)
Big George Foreman has been struggling a bit recently and is looking to get back on track against an impressive, up and coming, Cuban heavyweight that has recently entered the top 50 in the world rankings. Jose Napoles brings his brilliance all the way from Cuba to show the world that he is ready for the big fights and main events. Napoles opens up and thunders forward without any fear of Foreman's punching power and embarrasses his opponent with a 30-4, 1st round. Foreman is lucky to have survived that round as the referee was looking very closely at Big George. Foreman is prodded on by his corner and lands some thudding shots that hurt Napoles to both the head and body, 16-11, in the 2nd. 22-14, Foreman in the 3rd, as Napoles had Foreman on his heels to start the round but was also warned for a head-butt that stopped the momentum he had going. A close round, 15-14, Foreman in the 4th. Both fighters are exchanging blows but Napoles has to be wary of Foreman's power even though he seems to be getting tired. Napoles is taking serious punishment in the 7th, 27-2, and is able to get out of the round. A close 8th sees Napoles warned for a third foul, this one a low blow. An overhand right puts Foreman down in the 9th. Foreman's conditioning is a big factor in this fight right now. A short hook puts Foreman down again in the 10th. A second knockdown may be it but Foreman gets up again. No, that is it as the fight has been stopped. Winner: Napoles Result: (TKO10) Cards: 87-83, 86-84, 85-84, all three cards in favor of Foreman Punch stats: 216-526, 41.1% Foreman - 293-470, 62.3% Napoles Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, USA, 13-3-0 (11) vs Floyd Johnson, USA, 14-2-0 (12) The opening round is an all-out slugfest, 12-11, in favor of Johnson. The 2nd round starts the way the 1st ended, 17-9, in favor of Johnson. The heavy hands of Johnson have taken their effect on Rampage as he has suffered two cuts in the first two rounds; one over the right eye and the other inside of the mouth. There is a lot of blood coming from the mouth of Rampage which is not a good sign so early in the fight. Swallowing so much blood can slow a fighter down and cause some nausea. Rampage throws a left that misses and is knocked down from a counter right in the 4th. Jackson has developed some swelling around the right eye to go along with all the problems he already has. The 5th and 6th are just as action packed as the rest of the fight and just as hard to call. Rampage seems to have gotten the better of it in the 6th and 7th. A solid cross by Johnson sends Rampage down for the second time in the fight in the 8th. A hard hook by Rampage seems to have hurt Johnson in the 9th as he is clutching his side. 14-12, Johnson in the 10th. This fight has been non-stop since the opening bell sounded, 11-8, Johnson in the 11th. Rampage eats a right hook and is down again in the 12th. Rampage is going to need a miracle to win here tonight as he is too far behind on the cards. Jackson takes the 14th but it is a little bit too late. Rampage drops Johnson at the start of the 15th. He is trying to follow up and produce the miracle that we talked about. But the bell sounds as Rampage just didnt have enough time to try to close the show with a stoppage. Winner: Johnson Result: (UD15) Cards: 144-138, 143-139, 144-138, all three cards in favor of Johnson Punch stats: 266-996, 26.7% Jackson - 391-1000, 39.1% Johnson [30] Joe Jeannette, USA, 16-3-0 (12) (UD15) [19] James J. Jeffries, USA, 20-6-1 (18) [41] Michael Moorer, USA, 20-2-0 (20) (TKO13) [43] Archie Moore, USA, 17-3-0 (16) [96] James J. Braddock, USA, 9-2-1 (5) (KO5) [101] Chris Byrd, USA, 18-3-2 (7) [104] Faruq Saleem, USA, 10-3-1 (8) (KO7) [99] Big George Godfrey, USA, 20-1-0 (17)
