I drew 10 manager names out of a hat last night and sent them a PM asking them to select 5 fighters to add to the draft pool. When I get them back, I'll post the list of fighters that will be added to the draft pool at the end of the season in the post just below the current draft pool in the Utba draft thread.
I'm out of the office for awhile, it's 80 degrees here (should be in the 30's this time of year) and with the release from the doctor, I'm off to ride the motorcycle. |

Looks like it's going to be a good draft this year, the expansion teams should be able to pick up some solid help this year well as long as y'all don't get trading all your draft picks away.

Currently Gunsmoke's Punching Bags are the only team over the cap. Need to hear from him on who he wants to release. He has been real busy of late and I have a pretty good idea of who he will release, so I might take care of that for him.
The reason for telling you all of this is, if everybody agrees with their roster on page one, I'll start season 3 this weekend. All systems are go on my end..............I hope. For those that requested the Utba data folder, I'll send it out Saturday. |

I guess since having 3 "1-rated" fighter on the roster, the Muckboys are hoping that the expansion teams are just going to lay down. I'm interested to see if this team strategy is actually going to make the Muckboys a better overall team...

I'm just as interested as you are to find out if this works, truthfully, I see this coming one of two ways either I'm going to be the best around or it's going to blow up in my face horribly. I got a bad feeling that it ain't going to work out well.

A little UTBA history............
Shane's Boxing Kangaroos were the first team last season to have boxing brothers on the same team. This season, they have two sets of boxing brothers. |

Shane won't know quite what to do when Alfie, Clem, Ritchie, George, Russell and Dave Sands hit the draft!

I would like to be the one who breaks the trend of expansion teams getting their faces kicked in..lol. A lot of good teams...should be a competitive league. I am just hoping that Earnie Shavers and Tony Tucker can crack a few craniums...without getting theirs cracked of course..lol. I may take a beating my first year, but promise that I will compete to the bitter end. Hopefully a few of the veteran teams will overlook Left Jab Inc and we can get a suprise or two. I hope we get started this weekend...what a great idea this is! I have been fired up and ready for days...even got my universe cranked back up and in full swing..lol. Well, good luck to all(except when facing Left Jab Inc.). Shall I say it? Lets get ready to rumble!
