If so, I have several possible ones you could consider adding to your game worlds, whether they're past, present, and/or future ones of yours, for sure. Well, you know how each nation has ratios for names of certain kinds? If you have multiple name sets available for use, and choose certain name sets to use for names of people from certain nations at certain ratios, then that should help you at least a little, if not a lot, to avoid duplicate names for people in-game, I think.

If you wanted those name sets to actually stick between different games without having to recreate those nations every time you started a new game, you would probably have to edit the proper files, of course. I haven't tried editing the appropriate files yet, but others no doubt have, and I'm sure there are instructions for that sort of thing elsewhere on the forum, somewhere.

I suppose it would depend on what name sets you would choose to use for certain nations, and the ratios at which those name sets were potentially used to create names for people in the game from those countries. I usually edit Israel's details in-game for languages and ratios, for instance, among other countries as well. Countries like Burma, to name just one of the nations I often change data for in various dynasties.

I have dozens of other flags created for potential use in various games, but I haven't always been able to add the related nations to my games, for various reasons, to be sure. However, when I do add at least one fictional nation to a game of mine, I often try to add at least Slaabovia to a game, if not any other nations of mine as well, just so you know, jg2977.

Check the forums for information on how to potentially add new countries and the related data to the appropriate files, for I can't really tell you how to do it well myself, in truth, so that the edits stick permanently enough. The best I've been able to do is to add nations to my games manually, in-game, and not in any other way, whenever I've added them in the past to those games of mine.

There are many name generators of all kinds on the Internet, provided by many different websites, with assorted themes often used for them. Some names are more realistic, while others are not, of course. Depending on what you're looking for, there are any number of sites with such generators that can be used to collect names for nations, cities, people's names, and any number of other things. Or even description-related generators, for instance, at that, for sure.

Of course, even if a player is created as being from a specific country, you can always change their name in-game, either through the editor or through other means, just so you know. That's if your name sets don't actually have a certain name listed in them, either for the first name or the last name, anyway.

If you need certain kinds of names or certain kinds of ideas for various things, at various times in your respective lives, then just websearch for your desired search terms using your preferred web browser and/or search engine. I personally prefer to use Yahoo! Search with Firefox, but others might naturally enough prefer to use certain other search engines and/or browsers, of course. Just so you know, folks.

For the 1976 season I'm updating all the rosters. I can't believe how many bad players the game is creating. There are too many guys who are batting under .200 with almost no power, thus creating huge black holes some teams' lineups. That's why I have some teams who have records of 30-132 - they have whole rosters filled with players who can't hit.

It's January 3rd, 1976 and GC Freeman still hasn't retired, so it looks like he might play at the age of 43. And why not? He batted .370 with 27 home runs last season at age 42.

Show me your settings, please, then. Let's see what we can do together to hopefully improve the quality of your IPA, and perhaps even better the chances that GC and AG can actually finish their careers together in the same year and go out on top, with at least one title earned for them both in the same year or years. Okay?

As for more graphics work, I'll try to get the desired teams' items done as quickly as possible and as well as possible. You'll probably need to adjust modifiers and all, too, I think, before the next season. Let's try and take some time and try to get them better, before you start the 1976 season, even if it takes at least a week or two to do so well enough. Your IPA has been largely hitter-dominated for quite some time, it seems to me. We need to level the field a bit, at least, it seems to me. And that may take some time to do, of course. That's if we want to do it right and all, as best as we can, you know.

jg2977, to find the relevant files for caps and/or uniforms and/or logos, do this, if you can, in whatever version of OOTP you are currently using. IF you do the following, hopefully you should be able to find them easily enough somehow, one way or another.

1. Go to your saved_games directory for the appropriate OOTP version.

2. Go to your desired dynasty's folder. After that, you will see several folders in a list. The three folders you will want to check out on this level here are ballcaps, jerseys, and news.

Clicking on the ballcaps folder will allow you to see all the caps that your applicable dynasty has available for past or present teams in it, it seems to me.

Clicking on the jerseys folder should do the same for all the past or present uniforms in the game, as well, I think.

As for logos, though, you will need to click on news to get to the next lowest level here for your relevant dynasty's overall folder system.

3. Click on the news folder from step two, then on the HTML folder.

4. Once that is done, you will see another list of folders to choose from. The next folder you will want to click on is the images folder. Click on the images folder to continue.

5. On this level of the folder framework, you should then see up to seven folders and several other files. The folders you should see at the very least should be bb_cards, hof, league_logos, person_pictures, profile_pictures, team_logos, and wpa. The folders you most likely will want to check out next are the folders called league_logos and team_logos. As with the ballcaps and jerseys folders from before, the relevant graphics you may need or want to find should be in the appropriate folders here. Check those two folders as you like, and then do as you like with the needed/desired files.

6. Once you have done as you need to do or want to do here, with those files, back out, and go from there as needed and/or desired here, as best as you can, as soon as you can.

Hope all these detailed instructions help you out here considerably, and/or anyone else who may not know how to do these things well enough here, at least for their OOTP games, if not also their FHM games. I haven't really explored the FHM-related file structures yet, in terms of where certain files likely are or could be, but maybe someday I will, for at least one version of FHM. But I certainly have for OOTP, in any case, for the four versions of it I've previously installed on my computers, for sure.

Personally, I download all OOTP-related graphics, normally, to a series of folders under the OOTP 18 folder on my hard drive, with appropriate subfolders as appropriate and all, of course. I have a folder in my OOTP 18 directory called OOTP-Related Team and League-Based Modified Sets, with various subfolders, for instance, under that, obviously enough.

I have quite a lot of various items there already, and I've even copied a good variety of my already-created items from my justafan application-related folders over to the appropriate subfolders in the aforementioned folder under OOTP 18. Not all, mind you, of course, but many of the items in my justafan application-related subfolders that I've done already have made it to the appropriate subfolders of the folder mentioned above, for sure.

Actually, I will probably alter the settings so that it will be more arena baseball league style. When I had OOTP 19 I had a league called the North American Baseball League, and there was lots of scoring. The average score of the games would be somewhere along the likes of 25-22. I had a blast playing it. I think I put the home run modifiers at something like 2.5

I'm generally not in favor of high-scoring games, but you may be, of course. Do as you like, but I typically prefer pitcher's duels, for instance, quite often. I think they're often much more exciting than slugfests may often be. Of course, that may not always be the case, but that's what I normally prefer to see when it comes to baseball games. And better pitching results with starting pitchers going at least 7 innings, even if they have to throw more than 130 to 150 pitches a game on average, more or less.

The first set for the Rolling Hills Racers is pretty good.

The second set is fine, too... but I like the Blue, Orange better than the Black, Blue, Orange... nothing wrong with the second set... I just prefer the first set because it is closer to the original colors I used.

I think my Orange would look better than your Carrot Color on the first set... but that's just my opinion... both colors are fine... I just prefer the brighter Orange.

CD, I don't think you used Orange... that still looks like Carrot.
