Finally, down in the South we have our last but not least expansion team:
Punching Bags (Gunsmoke) (cap points = 95 of 105) HW (9)Oscar Bonavena 0-0-0 (0) *beginning (3)Frankie Swindell 0-0-0 (0) *beginning LHW (6)Stipe Drews 0-0-0 (0) *beginning (3)Jerry Celestine 0-0-0 (0) *beginning MW (8)Al Hostak 0-0-0 (0) *beginning (5)Garth Panter 0-0-0 (0) *beginning WW (7)Harry Lewis 0-0-0 (0) *beginning (7)Vince Martinez 0-0-0 (0) *beginning LW (5)Lou Bizzarro 0-0-0 (0) *beginning (4)Julian Wheeler 0-0-0 (0) *beginning FW (5)Harry Jeffra 5-10-1 (2) *beginning (9)Kevin Kelley 0-0-0 (0) *beginning BW (4)Paul Ferreri 1-13-0 (0) *pre-prime (6)Oscar Muniz 5-9-0 (1) *beginning Fly (8)Fermin Gomez 0-0-0 (0) *beginning (6)Albert Belanger 0-0-0 (0) *beginning There are the five new teams and yes 4 of the 5 did put a 8 or higher in the MW division thus making the roughest division round even rougher.

The Free Agent Waiver Wire is now Open............
The first Free Agent waiver requests will be open from 11/07/06 8:00 am CST to 11/09/06 8:00 am CST. Guys, I'm going to handle this in 48 hour shifts. 1) You can submit three fighters on a claim request per 48 hour shift. I will close the waiver wire for a short time to announce the new signings. Once the new signings have been announced, I'll open the waiver wire up again for 48 hours. 2) Make sure you put who you want by priority......1st, 2nd, 3rd. Which ever team is up first, they will claim their #1 request first and then their team will move to the bottom of the waiver wire. This will be done for every team requesting and claiming free agents during a 48 hour shift. If one of your fighters gets selected by another team before your team comes up again in the waiver order ranks, I'll go to your next selection on your list if there is one. Or if you want to, you can give me an alternate request. Example: #1 pick Ali or Frazier, #2 pick Foreman, #3 pick Spinks or Dempsey. In this case, I would use Ali first but if a team ahead of you claimed him, I'd go to your alternate Frazier request. In your second turn, It's Foreman unless he was picked up before your team could get him and then I'd move to your #3 choice. 3) I will only update the waiver rank on the draft thread at the end of every 48 hour shift. |

Left Jab Inc is one of the new gyms in the UTBA. I know expansion is tough for the first year, however,I play on pulling a few upsets..lol. Seriously,I cant wait..what a great idea. I got fired up just reading over last years matches. Thanks to the guys who make it a go. Lot of hard work for sure...and it is appreciated. Well, cant wait...all systems are go! Oh yeah,if any of you guys are interested in my draft picks....I am open to discussions as long as you are reasonable..lol.

FYI
7 teams have filed for free agency so far. As it looks, only one team will not get who they wanted in one slot. Not bad. |

Let's hope I can get over the hump and not blow the division in the last match of the season again

You took the same type of tack I did going for lower weights with one veteran for stability. I think Park and Symonds should work out well for you. Good luck this coming season. Bear |

Your flys will be tough given their experience. I'm a big Beau Jack fan. Lopez and Santry are a couple of others I like. Looks like you also want to toss your hat into the middleweight jungle. Good luck this season. Bear |

I like what you did with your lower three weight classes. Also like Durelle as a lower ranked LHW. Good luck this coming season Bear |

Can someone post Irish Jack Burke's rating record for some reason I don't have him in my database.
