Slow down, please, Chris. Let me catch up. Some of the names on my to-do list, and some of the fighters you have posted in response, were already in the TBCB database.
Others, like Jorgen Johansen, had already been rated--in this case, by Mark Elwood--and were incorrectly listed on the to-do list. Give me a chance to go through the list more carefully, and to post an updated version.

Sorry, got a tad carried away there. I'll wait for several days to see what gets posted.

Al Bourke
The Bourke file posted a little earlier was for a different fighter altogether. This Al Bourke was an Australian middleweight, a native of Tasmania. Born 1928. Fought from 1950 to 1957. Trained by Amby Palmer. Record: 24-4-1 (9).
Commonwealth middleweight champion, 1952-1954. Beat Ron Toohey in October 1951 to claim title vacated by Randy Turpin. Gave up the title in 1954 when he temporarily retired. Bourke had lost an earlier attempt at the Commonwealth middleweight championship, losing to Dave Sands via fifth-round knockout in May 1952.

Progress, cont.
I apologize for the confusion that I caused by posting a progress list earlier, which contained several errors. While I check and doublecheck it, I would be grateful for any fighters on that list (found here) who are not in the TBCB database, but whose source is definitely known. Like Chris, I hate not giving proper credit. And if I include a file in the EBU/Commonwealth Championship Pack, I want to credit its author.
Thanks!

Dante Canè
Does anyone know who originated the .tbdx ratings for Dante Canè, the Italian heavyweight who fought from 1964 to 1978, which Chris posted earlier? Was it Rocco? (The work is good!)

I think he was part of Rocco's Gerhard Zech replay.

Yeah, Swampdragon, I too think that Canè is Rocco's work. But Canè never fought Zech.

Jimmy Elliott
The Jimmy Elliott posted earlier under this thread was a different fighter altogether--an American middleweight of the forties rated by Mark Elwood. This Jimmy Elliott was a South African middleweight. Fought from 1953 to 1957. Record: 10-6-0 (3).
Elliott was knocked out in the sixth round of a Commonwealth middleweight title bout by Pat McAteer in May 1957. He died from the injuries he sustained in that fight. I have intentionally misspelled his last name on the attached ratings file, leaving off one of the final T's, so that he and the American Jimmy Elliott will show up as separate fighters with separate biographies. I have also attached the biography file for the American Jimmy Elliott, as rated by Mark, for those who want to keep both fighters in their database. Just drop the text file in the FightersBiography subfolder of the Memos folder.

Billy Ellaway
Liverpool middleweight. Born 1932. Fought from 1950 to 1958. Trained and managed by Jimmy Duffy. Record: 51-21-1 (28).
Defeated by Lew Lazar in April 1956 in final elimination bout for the British middleweight title. Ellaway had beaten Lazar a year earlier, and also beat Leo Starosch, Abe Quartey (three times), Martin Hansen, Eddie Thomas, and Willie Armstrong. He lost to Hansen, Armstrong, Les Allen, Jean Ruellet, Pat McAteer, Dick Tiger, and Chic Calderwood. He retired after three straight knockout losses.

Charkey Ramon
One of the best Australian fighters ever. A junior middleweight. Born 1950 in Gulgong, N.S.W. Fought from 1970 to 1974. Record: 33-1-1 (21).
Tko'd Pat Dwyer in the inaugural title fight for the Commonwealth junior middleweight belt in October 1972. Successfully defended the title with knockout of Donato Paduano in June 1973. Career cut short by injury. The only picture I could find was of a 50-year-old Ramon holding his 30-year-old Commonwealth title belt. I didn't think anyone would want to use it. If someone can find a better one, that'd be great.
