4) Felons
Though the Felons are ranked last this year, that does not mean they are a bad team. It doesn't mean that at all. In my opinion, the Felons have a bunch of young talent, but last year, they just couldn't seem to put it together. I'm thinking it'll be that way for at least one more year, which is why I ranked them last. If you look closely, they have much more talent than the Juveniles, but the Juves are putting up better numbers, so I thought they had a good chance of making it to the Finals again. Now, if I'm wrong, and the Felons start living up to their talents, scouting reports, and expectations, then move them up two spots in the standings. This team has very, very few weaknesses, with the only one really being the lack of depth in the bullpen. They have an outstanding reliever in maninthebox (4.5 star prospect), and mwabaseballkid is one of the league's best closers, but a couple more average relievers would greatly improve their bullpen. According to the team's head scout, Christian Roden, the pitching staff is "by far the best in the league, talentwise. Maybe their not tearing up the league yet, but in a couple more years, these guys will be competing among themselves for pitcher of the year." GM/manager Shub will also have a difficult time coming up with a lineup that will satisfy everyone, as most of their hitters can be placed either 3, 4, or 5 in the lineup. The guy to look out for this year, though, is SS sportkrazy. Sportkrazy is one of the best in the league, and emerging from a sensational rookie year, he is the guy teams will be pitching around all year long. This year will be an exciting one, and though all 4 teams are almost equally competitive, only two of them can advance to the Finals. We will just have to wait and see who they will be.

Thanks. And Gabe, sorry about the misunderstanding regarding Tim Johnson.
![]() I also redid the Felons article, to add TheProdigy to it. I rewrote the paragraph about the pitchers, but left everything else the same. Here it is: 4) Felons Though the Felons are ranked last this year, that does not mean they are a bad team. It doesn't mean that at all. In my opinion, the Felons have a bunch of young talent, but last year, they just couldn't seem to put it together. The Felons have very, very few weaknesses, with the only one being their lack of depth in the bullpen. Unfortunately, that is a pretty large weakness. They have an outstanding reliever in maninthebox (4.5 star prospect), and a great closer in mwabaseball, but not much past that. A couple guys, notably TheProdigy and PhantomJedi, struggled a bit last year, each with losing records, and rather high ERA's. But, with the help of pitching coach Kurt Morant, both pitchers look to have a much better 2004 season. He says, that though both pitchers have made substantial progress this spring training, he is overwhelmed with the progress TheProdigy has made. The junkballer has put emphasis on improving his control over his knuckler and scroogie, and has even added a changeup to his repetoire. But even with these 4 guys, a couple more relievers could vastly improve their bullpen, and really make the Felons a contender. Yeah - and I'm going to finish third place, so I might as well be looking ahead to the 2005 season anyway.

Well with so many uncertain factors in this game, injuries, off year etc....who knows, maybe the 'blazers can make second place after the mighty Storm of course.

I hope so. I'm really trying to do better than last year (of course). But I've signed a bunch of really talented guys this offseason, and a couple towards the end of last year, and hopefully they can perform as expected this year. If so, we stand a really good chance of making it past the Juves, and into the Finals. But, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
