However you guys want to work it is fine by me. Sometimes, I have a hard time with some of them, so I know that I will need help, as well as with re-sizing them. I hope this doesn't frustrate anyone.

Oh, not at all. Absolutely not. I have no problem resizing your logos, and if you ever need help, I'm more than willing.

dbacks: Tulsa Teddy Bears is very good.
Would it be hard to make ''TULSA" and "TEDDY BEARS" in the same color blue as the teddy's vest? If you can't or don't want to change it...no problem. I still like it very much as is. |

knuckler: Thanks for the reply.
The resizing has been no problem...many times they work fine without resizing. Remember the 'MEXICO CITY TIGERS'...It was huge and yet worked. I did put dbacks resized one in later. I'll start working on the next sets for each of you. IF YOU GET STUCK OR HAVE DESIGNERS BLOCK, JUST POST IT BACK ON THE THREAD AND SOMEONE WILL PROBABLY DO IT. |

dbacks, that teddy bear looks real enough to hug.
You really nailed this one. Markmeister nailed the Las Vegas Bruins, too with the UCLA logo. |

I agree, he did a very good job with that one.
On a sidenote, I won't be able to get any more done until tomorrow, but I'm free for most of the day, so I'll be able to get a few done then. Looking forward to your new sets! |

Has anybody done any work on the last one of the set...the
Des Moines Cubbies? There is no sense in all of you doing it. Let me know. |

Right now, I'm not working on anything. If no one else wants to, I might give it a shot tomorrow. But if someone else wants to give it a shot, go right ahead.

I'll just assign it to someone in their next set, if it's not done tonight.
It's been another great day...all thanks to you guys. Go to sleep. |

knuckler, this is your next set (or impossible mission, whatever the case may be) according to the new procedure...do them at your own pace...no rush...when you complete them, I will assign you another set.
If you get stuck on one, just re-post it in this thread and I will reassign it to someone else. There are only 3 teams in this set...the Rochester Royals were done earlier. CINCINNATI REDS (If possible, use Reds logo...go to www.logoserver.com to view...choose "MLB-NL"...then scroll down to Cincinnati's logos...1999 logo) "REDS" in White Letters on a black background...inside a RED "C" trimmed in black and white. Add "CINCINNATI" in curved RED letters trimmed in wide BLACK above the "C". NASHVILLE VOLS (a volunteer was a Davy Crockett type frontiersman in a coonskin cap with a long rifle, who volunteered to fight for Texas independence against Mexico) Use Red, Gray and White Colors. (If you can't come up with a team symbol) Put a red block "N" trimmed in wide white in a center circle on a gray background...above the "N" put "NASHVILLE" in curved red block letters trimmed in wide gray...below the "N" put 'VOLS" in red block letters trimmed in wide gray. SAVANNAH SEA DOGS...your choice of design and colors. (a "sea dog" was a British privateer or pirate...use a pirate or sailing ship...or skull and crossbones) Use 3 colors if they fit your design. (black, gray and white suggested) (If no team symbol can be found, do the logo similar to Nashville with an Old English "S" in the center and "SAVANNNAH" above it and "SEA DOGS" below it) I hope you like this new procedure. Let me know if you don't. Last edited by Eugene Church; 06-28-2003 at 02:52 AM. |

Here is your set: Do them as you can...no rush. You got lucky...I don't have many suggestions for this set. If you run out of ideas and can't come up with a logo, just re-post it and I will assign it to someone else. Do'em your way. ......if you can't find a team symbol...just do the block letter in the center with city and nickname above and below it HOUSTON BUFFALOES PHOENIX GUNSLINGERS SAN ANTONIO VAQUEROS...(spanish for "cowboys") AUSTIN LONGHORNS (use Texas Longhorns colors...orange and white...add wide red trim so it will give better contrast and show up better on game screens) Let me know if this new assignment procedure doesn't work out for you. Thank you for your help. Last edited by Eugene Church; 06-28-2003 at 05:00 AM. |

This is your set. No need to rush...do them at your convenience. If you have problems creating a logo, just re-post it and it will be assigned to another designer. All St. Louis Cardinals farm teams: OMAHA CARDINALS (see www.chriscreamer.com for single cardinal and two cardinals on a bat over "CARDINALS") In "primary logos" select 1998-present...single cardinal perched on a yellow bat above red "CARDINALS"...Add "OMAHA" in red trimmed in wide black above the team symbol. OR...in "script logos" select 1997-present...two cardinals perched on a yellow bat above red 'CARDINALS' in script...Add "OMAHA" in red above the team symbol. USE THE ONE THAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU. (if you can't come up with a team symbol, just use the block letters for the city and nickname with a block letter in the center circle) COLUMBUS REDBIRDS (there's a cardinal taking batting practice in the "alternate logos" section at www.chriscreamer.com...87-present) Add "REDBIRDS" in red script with tail trimmed in wide black or wide yellow above the team symbol...Add "COLUMBUS" in black block letters. FRESNO FIREBIRDS (you did an "Arizona Firebirds" for manooly in the thread "logo request for new fictional league"...also saw a great firebird in a yellow trimmed circle on a black background on page 2 in the thread by manooly "logo enhancements for fictional league" USE THE LATTER IF YOU CAN...it's really nice. Put "FRESNO" in orange lettering trimmed in yellow curved above the firebird circle...put "FIREBIRDS" in orange lettering trimmed in yellow below the firebird circle. Use the "Arizona Firebirds" in the first thread as the second choice. If neither can be done...go to the standard generic block letter with a circle with the initial letter of the city...use the orange, yellow and black colors. DES MOINES CUBBIES (Use Chicago Cubs colors...royal blue, red and white...if you can put "CUBBIES" in a circle in red block letters on a white background trimmed with a blue circle (like the regular Cubs logo)...Place "DES MOINES" in red lettering trimmed in royal blue curved around the circle) If it can't be done, do your own thing...or do the standard block letter with a circle, etc. Let me know if this new procedure can be improved. Thanks for all of your help. Last edited by Eugene Church; 06-28-2003 at 12:19 PM. |
