Something's wonky here. See underlined times in the out of town scoreboard and the game being played.
Game being played is at 4:05pm. Game in the OoTSB is at 2:05pm. There should be a couple of innings played at least, I would think.

From what I've seen the Out of Town scoreboard seems to update after the first play, don't know about after just 1 pitch.

It's pretty constant. Sometimes it updates games, most times it doesn't. My game is at 2:53pm. One game was supposed to start at 10:35, the other at 2:35. Neither one is showing anything. There's a third game below these two that supposedly started at 2:35 as well, showing exactly the same thing.

Can't move this. If I touch it, it disables the replay.

Uniform non-uniformity
I'm seeing a fair bit of this creeping in, despite doing a full FG update at the start of the season. This is on Opening Day after just having done one.
![]() Same club but different unis being displayed. Thanks G

Haven't had a PBP error in a while, but here's one. With runners on first and third:
"Set to hit is [batter]... 0 for 1 in this one. With first base open they'll walk [batter]. [runner on first] hustles to second..." |

Hi.... I started a thread and got some feedback. I emailed support without response yet. But it seems this might be able to get an answer quicker.
Questions: 1. Is there some setting in OOTP 24 that creates a balance between loaded teams and teams filled with minor league caliber players? 2. Does the engine purposefully cap the statistics for a team full of the best offensive players at each position on the same team. (kind of ties in with previous queston)? 3. Is there a ceiling for the amount a user led team can beat an AI team? Findings: 1. In OOTP 21 winning 135+ games (no injuries) was an almost a yearly occurrence for me. In OOTP 24 using same approach as 21 I hover between 100-124 while my historically great offense/pitching team if it happened in real life regularly would give up 8+ runs each game in a series while being shut out or scoring only 1 run. Then in playoffs a mediocre team with good not great players would completely destroy my team first round in the playoffs (this was a common occurrence), then in the world series and 80-82 team wins the world series knocking off great teams to get there. 2. My monster team in OOTP 21 would be be an entire lineup that bats roughly .300/.400/.500 5+ player hit 40+ home runs, 1-9 all 100 RBIS, 1300 Runs scored on the seasons. Same exact team build in OOTP 24, with similar player rating would hit .275/.350/.450, with large gaps between best player and worst player. Some players would hit .230/.300/.390. With 100% accuracy scouting. That is coming from the best offensive player at their position with 80+ contact/Power/eye. I may have a couple 40+ homer players, but only 4 players if that would get 100 RBI's, and my team would finish with 800-900 runs. This all while a team that may have two offense all-stars on their team scores 800 (not that much lower than my monsters). I think it topped out at around 1100 one season. Pitching seems to be similar between the two versions, and league averages are about the same as well. 3. I haven't done it yet, as it didn't interest me, but I've heard of terrible built user teams losing 80-0 to the AI, minor leagues competing against major leaguers. But without adjusting any settings, and having 26 players edited to perfect ratings, my team would top out at around 40, once in a while hit 30, and still have many games that are 2-1/ 1-0. Barry bonds didn't even have perfect ratings, but could you imagine a team filled with him, competing against the 2024 oakland A's and him and that team only scoring 1 run. That team would realistically have at least a couple home runs. When I actually play the game, I can score 30 + runs in the first 3 innings, knock all pitchers out of the game to where the LF starts to pitch, that LF, and every other offensive player that pitches against my perfect players completely shut them out. They'll often load the bases, only to get three strait outs. When I adjusted the modifiers for the league to increase offensive output I had one game that I won 56-0, and thought I solved my problem. My team statistics ended up being worse that season than the previous, while every other team in the leagues offense dramatically increased. Now I've heard some say that OOTP say's there is no ceiling/limits. I am trying to figure out how to reach the point of no limits. I hypothesize that there is some setting that limits the amount my team can destroy teams, and levels the playing field more in 24 compared to OOTP 21, 18, 17. I'm simply trying to figure out what that setting is, and how I can adjust it to make it no ceiling. That all said, I'm simply playing around with the game at this point, and trying to have no ceiling to jack destroy records. My only main goal when buying a baseball team is to take the worst team and make it the best team/world series champ by year 2. I accomplished this both on Challenge mode and non challenge mode with OOTP 24, and loved every second. Great gameplay, enjoy features. Your OOTP team does an overall phenomenal job! Thank you and keep making it amazing! |

Also, may be the wrong thread for this question. If so, can you direct me to the right one. There are a lot of threads within OOTP |

Do these borked on-field player images count as cosmetic issues? They started after I changed the resolution, and changing it back didn't make them go away. They also don't consistently seem to happen.
