Although I don't play regularly, I'm constantly reminded when I do play how amazing OOTP is. Congrats and hope for you continual success.

Please... Please... Please.

This is a question for Markus only... I don't want this to become a battlefield as it has in recent threads... Please allow him and him alone to comment in this thread.

Dear Markus and Andreas,
A lot of your loyal fans and customers would really appreciate some kind of update on the future of OOTP... there are a lot of rumors and misinformation going around... our OOTP Community is on the decline spirit-wise and needs a good pep talk in a huge way.

I hope you can lift our spirits.,, only you can do that for the OOTP Community.

I understand you have legal restrictions and ramifications on what you can tell us, but as well as you can, it would be good if you would update us on what future might be for OOTP.

You stated at the time of the sale you were not going to retire soon, but Andreas might.
.
You have stated that you will stay and design the game for at least 3 years.

I think that is the time you would have control of the game keep producing OOTP.

That time period is just about here.

Please tell the OOTP Community as much as you legally and sensibly can... I understand that this is business and what you can communicate is limited by contract and good business sense.

Considering the attitude on the OOTP Forums in recent months, I think the new owner would want to protect its interest in OOTP and allow you to give the OOTP Community an update on the future of the game.

I hope you will.

In closing, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the glorious game of OOTP... may it live long and prosper for many, many more versions.

Looking forward bit need some looking back help needed

Hey all, somehow, way back in the early days, I was involved, but had chemotherapy and I didn't remember it nor most any other thing really for years. When I stumbled into OOTP during Covid time, I was hooked but something felt similar, while also altogether different. I have spent way too much money on the game, it's like collecting baseball to me, just organized for me. Now here is a question and I'm not if I should do something or wait a couple days. I've not really paid attention to a lot of things the game does. I don't think I have played anything but perfect team, which I guess is good for the house, not so good for this house *lol* Anyhow, my laptop that my wife got on first anniversary, outside of a son that we got through en vitro, is the best thing she did for me. All of the games I have are installed on that computer, and at the moment, I can't get power to it, at all, hope it's the pin and they can fix it and even though I didn't login for a few days, maybe it won't be quite as difficult as I go on the moving process. With a computer that old, I didn't do much, playing 2 years of baseball (would be more if I could), trying to build teams I like in challenging, the current one i of course 95% of my attention but it be nice winning no matter when. Anyhow the computer will not charge, don't know if a pin got pushed a particular way, I had been having some rather realistic dreams lately and was trying to run away, which lead to me bumping into it, and I guess it fell over and drove the part further inside. I took it to a shop, tryning to get repairs on one this old is a challenge, that's up in the small stuff, and my hand/eye reflex is very far away to what they were. Probably medicines or long term damage, whatever, I never know, I know it sucks as another thing that I'm stuck with and am happy to be stuck with, just makes things a bit eaier. If they can't get something usable, I am on that, I bought a new computer, a bear, I just haven't really tried much there, I was going to start with the one, get it setup, then ask and find out for sure what all I need to move, and how, if things are workable. I have one of those little machine that you are suppposed to be to use like mjust a data drive, be it data from other seasons, other games and sometimes, evil real work (also second biggest thing i want to save. I'm sure a lot of its junk but I hate to lose contact with people. If the new version comes out before I can find out about access or repair, I hate to not be doing by daily check in and get my cards, and onto the last missings.

So obviously I can't work with 27 yet on this dead machine, since it's noit out.

I can't install 26 back and do things nor 25 either if we keep 3 open, I am crazy I'd love every version playable lol

So, please tell me should I install anything to not be bored, or wait and hope that the fix is possible like I think it can, but I've been wrong. Years back when I had steady hands, I so do not have that ability anymore.

To also be blunt, I'm not sure how much longer behaves. I forget stuff at way to high to be normal, so this is why I ask those of you i trust and who love the game please help me get things straight. I've only ran 1 team each year, I am tempted to add a second (since no work) team, the mind is not good but I have more time to te. So please sort of point me where to go and how to go. One of the bigger issues is I am unable to get my mail really, so it's a battle however I go... keep me in mind guys and gals and wish me some luck. It be nice to not be learning half way through the seasoin like I normally am (my fault, not yours)

Get the new computer (the bear) set-up. Download OOTP26 from this link (as I assume you are not on the Steam platform and instead bought OOTP direct from them):

https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=365905

Go to this site to get your license key: https://qlm1.net/ootpdevelopments/qlmcustomersite/

Enter the key into the game when it is installed and the main page is up on the new computer.

Sign in to Perfect Team.

Your team should be there.

Take care.
