The Breakers did well, finished with 109 wins to my 102 wins. I did win our head to head 11-8 though. So after battling all year in our division we'll be battling again in the divison series. He's got a tough team though!

I will say that it is most likely that we will not win the championship. We have 3 playoff series we have to win and even if we have an 80% chance of winning each individual series that leaves of with a 51% chance of winning all 3. Personally I don't think we have an 80% chance of winning each series, so I feel we have lower than 50% chance of winning it all. So anyone who wins will have to be very fortunate. The best strategy is to get your team in the playoffs where anything can happen. Best of luck to all of us still in the hunt! |

I should be careful of what I wish for. Lol. Striking out 17 times and losing both at Trident Beach Park puts me in a win or go home situation. Thank goodness I am heading home but if I lose one more I stay there.😰

What agony. Getting swept is never fun. Another wasted season for me. Congratulations to TwinsFan who was never in trouble all season or any playoff game with me. Good luck the rest of the way. I feel devastated and don’t know why I play this game.🤔 Good luck to all who are left in the Playoffs and to TwinsFan I add. “Great season my friend. A truly great season. It was a honor getting destroyed by you. .....

Oh my god! Thank you, Orcin. I am completely humbled by your kind words. LOL, I haven't accomplished THAT much yet. Check again after the playoffs after I get ousted somewhere along the way. But to your point, to say there wasn't any luck involved is a misnomer. There's always luck involved, both long term and short term. I've benefited from a few really good pack pulls which I used to turn around and sell so I could pursue other more affordable players that fit my "vision" better. And in the short term, there's always luck involved when simming games. An error here, an unfortunate strikeout there... it adds up. But the most important thing for me has always been having a plan from the very beginning as to how I wanted not only to compete, but to have a fun team while doing so. After all, it's still a game. That has always made any lack of success not an issue with me. That and having a really good sense of community in every league I've been in. |

What I like about PT is that after you get eliminated the next season is only hours away. Personally I like Mondays better than Sundays. Sundays are too nerve racking!

Sundays are completely nerve-wracking!
I've stolen a couple of your pitching concepts, Twinsfans. I'm hoping for the opportunity to use them against you. A few seasons ago... the last season you were in diamond, jda and I were trying to dissect what you were doing with your pitching staff during your playoff run. Don't know if I figured it out correctly, but I determined that you were an OOTP/PT pitching innovator that I wanted to try to emulate and tweak. |

Thank you my friend. I feel the same way about Monday. I always feel terrible on Sunday. I feel if I don’t get to the Championship series I wasted a whole week. Sometimes like today after getting swept by you I feel it would have been better to not even make the playoffs. At least then you know you have to change everything. When you make the playoffs each week you always feel a tweak here and a tweak there and..........Then you get swept by a better team. I have to change things up if I am to compete with you next season. You are very good and in a short series with Pedro throwing you are almost unbeatable. In fact for me Your were. .😁

Oh man.... I can't even believe I'm in this position right now. No matter what happens in this series, this season has been a success beyond my wildest expectations. No joke.
