Decided to go with the old texture for these. The "puffy" one made the home jersey too dark, IMO. I think I like this texture best anyway, since I have a thing about home jerseys being a really crisp white, and not looking like away jerseys. Way too many otherwise excellent-looking jerseys have been ruined for me due to over-shading/texturing. I've been known to recolor some just to make 'em whiter!

Coming soon-ish: Miami Miracle, Wichita Wranglers, Frederick Keys, Prince William Cannons, Peninsula Pilots, Waterloo Diamonds, Greensboro Hornets. All but Frederick (new team) and Greensboro (jersey change) are just team name changes. A LOT of that starting around this time period, when minor league teams started to have unique names more often, instead of just having the same name as the parent club.

I tried to piece together a similar wordmark using different fonts but I don't think I'm happy with it. Maybe you could try it an see if it looks better

The a, n, e, and s are all pretty much spot on, and the W isn't too bad, but yeah, the rest are a little off somehow. If I gave you the wordmark I was using, could you maybe clean it up a bit? Might be too small to do much with, though.

It would be hard to retrace the whole wordmark as I'm not that good at it and it might not look any better than the one you have.

Might have to call that one good, then. They can't all be masterpieces! Some are just lucky not to be total pieces of something else.

I'm beginning to thing "Old Minor League Logo/Wordmark Restoration/Recreation" might be an even more worthwhile project than what I'm doing, if anybody wanted to take that job on. But they'd need a better image-making program than what I have.
