Going to Toronto: two minor leaguers, pitcher Noel Agruelles & 2B Julio A. Rodriguez

Agruelles is the prize here. He is a Cuban with a major league contract so he doesn't cost any less than Qualls, but he has two more years of control and has a much higher upside.

For now he is in Vegas and Kelvin Herrera has been called up.

The Jays survive a missed bunt sign as Travis Snider hits a 2-out infield single in the 10th to plate the winning run, as the Jays top the Marlins 5-4 for their 4th win in a row and a sweep of Miami.

Earlier in the day the Jays made a move, calling up Dan Black (who came from Chicago in the deal that brought Adam Dunn), and assigned Roberto Cruz back to Vegas. To make room on the 40-man, Even Crawford was designated for assignment.

Then Toronto lost a close one to the Dodgers in L.A., falling 3-2 despite being victimized by Clayton Kershaw's 10 strikeouts.
