It would be great to see a FHM commercial or two during the NFL playoffs, no? Just kidding.

Sure, that's a good idea.

At Centre field there could be a sign saying 'I'd rather be playing FHM'.

Not sure if the specs have been released yet but i imagine they would be similar to that of OOTP?

I have a pretty old laptop, it only has 512MB RAM i'm unsure if this will be enough to run FHM upon release?

I have tried Football Manager 2013 and although it does run it is unplayable constant crashing slowdown etc (i believe that requires at least 1GB of RAM)

You will definitely have some trouble, no doubt, you could get yourself a decent used machine that will run it flawlessly for about 200$.

You will definitely have problems. If you have some money saved up then buy a used computer or start saving to get a really good computer with 6GB of ram and a 1TB HDD.

Yeah i've been looking around at some used/refurbished laptops. What sort of specs would be the minimum to have a decent experience of running it?

at least 1gb of RAM?
1.6ghz processor minimum?

I think that would be a bit too much RAM than what's needed. Only use laptop for a bit of browsing and of course playing FM and FHM when released.

I would not go with a laptop go with a desktop only because of the graphics card being much better and because of a desktop having more system memory. You probably will have issues with playing games on a laptop.

Quad core for a processor minimum
and get yourself 4 gigs of ram

I just sold a I7 2.9 with 8 gigs of ram for 450$ so the above could be found for 200 easily I'm guessing

I doubt FHM is going to be a resources hog. If it helps, the minimum spec for OOTP 13 is: 1GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, About 1 GB free HD space

If you're going for Windows 7, aim for at least 2gb (3gb or higher if possible). CPU-wise, if you can get an i3/i5/i7 CPU then that would be ideal. If you have the money, go for an i5/i7 as they're noticeably better than the i3. However, if you're on a budget, stick with an i3 and I'm pretty sure you'll be fine with FHM (or even a Core 2 Duo if you're really pressed for cash).

Above everything else: Avoid Celerons at all costs. Don't be fooled by their high Ghz; they're absolutely terrible CPUs (there's more to CPU power than Ghz).

Maybe during the superbowl? I don't know why they haven't thought of it before!? If only OOTP had your marketing genius!

Thanks. I was only half kidding, knowing the cost of such ads. Maybe a spot or two during Saturday' s Blackhawks v Kings NBC game. I can hear it now: "Imagine hockey like it' s never been. Franchise Hockey Manager. For less than the price of a seat at the rink, you sit in the GM' s seat!" Imagine, dream, build. Franchise Hockey Manager."

Of course, this would be the voice over to shots of NHL, Olympics (yes, including All Michaels famous, "Do you believe in miracles?"), European leagues, the best coaches and GM' s, and finally a fan wearing his favorite NHL sweater sitting in front of his PC dreaming and clicking away.

Hello i am very happy to hear that this game is coming out, the one thing that EHM 2007 lacked was a good fight commentry, can you confirm that you will be having a in depth fight commentry to go with your fantastic full depth of stats and gameplay etc

Also will you be including the EPL UK league as well as the Elite league, as there are many of these fans in the UK as it is the 2nd league to the Elite.

Thank you

I play OOTP on my laptop... runs no problem. 1.6 ghz quad core with 4 GB DDR ram. This is a 2 year old machine though, so you could probably find a decent upgraded quad core or even a nice dual core with 6-8gb of ram pretty cheap.

Also, if you are like me, dont worry about a huge hard drive. I have a 500GB hard drive, and am still only using 93GB of it after 2 years

Saving myself a lot of money my friend has given me his old laptop that he doesn't use anymore. Spec wise its better than my current laptop, 1GB RAM 2.10Ghz amd sempron processor.

I'm not expecting a flawless experience of that but it will at least be a decent enough experience running FHM off those specs right?

I guess it wouldn't be a good idea to play OOTP13 and FHM at the same time.

Why wouldn't you? You already have the #1 Baseball Sim, and I have little doubt that FHM will not be very long in being the #1 Hockey Sim. Having both to play at the same time will be awesome.
