Quick Update on Rolen's Roster Set

Why not just release what you have done and then post updates when you have finished everything?? That way everyone can get a taste of your rosters and everyone can play a few games and then give feedback-

I know Erich is working on it alot tonight, the big task is getting all of last year's draft picks in the game and making the file importable to the normal version of the game. The spreadsheet I was working on was exported from the beta version of the game. I know he is working at fixing that. I know we're all hungry here, but this set will be well worth the wait.

Good lord. Thank goodness for places like FOFC.

Anyway, this is the first time I've been here in a year or so. I've played the demo, but I won't buy the game until I'm able to judge it using Rolen's rosters. It's tradition.

See you all in another year. Probably.

Schmidty, I wouldn't worry about the rosters. Erich has had a lot of help from people on this forum for his roster set. From what I can tell he's in the home stretch, adjusting and testing.

I can see an OOTP 2007 purchase in your future.

Please be patient with Erich. He's working as hard as he can to provide a quality mod for the community. Considering the time I know he puts into his business, this is not a simple undertaking.

Dude I have done roster sets before. They are a bugger man. I really, really realy want an up to date roster set. But, I can wait. Even a half hearted effort can take a long time.
Plus, I know everyone working on the roster set would like to do as good a job as possible.

Long story short.....I just want to say thanks to all the guys working on roster sets.

No offense to anyone who is posting in this thread, but I'd like to make a request.

Would it possible to have a sticky thread opened that only Erich and jackflash have access to post to with updates on this project?

I'm all for keeping this current thread open for thank yous and offers to help, even criticisms if that's what people feel they need to do (freedom of speech, right?)

It's just that it's a little frustrating to come in and see that there's a new post in this thread, only to open it and realize it's just another flame or "way to go guys, keep up the good work" virtual pat-on-the-back.

Again, no offense to anyone in particular. I just wish there was a quicker, more efficient way to check for updates.

Just a quick update on me. Elbow has actually gotten worse, and I ended up spending the better part of this weekend in the urgent care at my local hospital receiving medication by IV. I even missed work today, which didn't make me very happy either.

There are others working getting things into the game for me.
