Paraguay did a good job of playing physically and getting England out of their game. If Roque Santacruz was healthy it could have ended in a tie. Englands MF was disappointing and so was Michael Owen. Its a bad sign when Crouch seems to be the featured player.

Sweden always seems to be intimidated playing the big boys though. England 3-1 in an easy match.

You need to listen to more Canadian feeds. Even Harry Neale and his uber-manlove for the Maple Laffs are better than any Yankee announcer for hockey games.

I meant Paraguay actually with their defending which at times looked straight out of a Sunday league game (ie kick it and hope it goes somewhere away from the goal).

Even if they both have 6 points the loser probably gets Germany in the round of 16. So the match will have meaning.

I try not to say much about him simply because I start to get mad and swear, worst player to ever wear an England shirt.
