Don Lalond
Had the best righthand in the division in the late 80's. If Sugar Ray would have faught him at 175, Lalond would have won, but instead, Lalond was conned into dropping to 167.

Darren Van Horn
I didnt like the guy because he said White Guys can't dance in one of the boxing mags back in 1988, but he was a decent fighter in his day.

Ramzi Hassan
I created him a month ago, just thought I would send him out. He fought some decent names in the past and would look OK in a tourney.

Grr...I'm not able to open any of the attachments. It says Windows needs to know what program created them. Being as computertarded as I am, this poses a problem for me. Any suggestions on how I can get past this?

I will be posting a sixpack of 1980s fighters on the Rating fighters of the 1980s string shortly, including the TF2001 version of The Pazman, plus my own ratings of Tony "The Tiger" Baltazar, Calvin Grove, Tyrone "Butterfly" Crawley, Melvin Paul and Terrence Alli. Spann was just posted here a little while ago.

Icetea,
thks a lot for all those late 80's early 90's fighters! esepcially for people like LaLonde and Van Horn who were high on my to do list. You would not happen to have a rating for Matthew Hilton would you? Rgds Dean |

Jack Stelzner
Here is Jack Stelzner turn of the century heavy whose main claim to fame was as Bob Fitzsimmon's sparring partner.
His main attribute was being able to suck up lots of punishment from the hard hitting Fitz. Rgds Dean |

Matthew Hilton
I also created Matthew a while ago. I wonder if he is related to Paris? He had a few nice wins in his carrer, but I remember that eye against Doug Dewit the most.

Buster Drayton
I created Buster Drayton the same day I did Hilton because they had a great fight aginst one another. Drayton, from Philly, holds a win over both Davey Moore (post Duran) and Wilfredo Benitez (after the lost it).

drake Thadzi
If your from Canada you have to have him. Drake was a good Light heavy in the late 80's. He holds wins over James Toney, John Scully, and Keith Bristol. Lost in his two attempts at world titles.

William Guthrie
Former Drug Kingpen makes good as a contender and brief champion. Lost the title to Reggie Johnson on a one punch KO.
