CPU intelligence when doing a Fantasy Draft
We have an issue in our new online fantasy draft league. There have been many traded picks, so it appears to the CPU that team X drafted player Y, but team Z actually has player Y after a trade during the draft. So my question is: how can we sim the rest of the draft with the CPU taking those trades into account? In a fantasy draft will the CPU look at the teams' rosters to see what holes a team has, or does the CPU just look at who the team drafted in the previous rounds? The reason I ask the latter question is if we did the trading before we started the computer sim of the draft, like put player Y on team Z's roster, will that make the CPU more intelligent in whom team Z (and team X) needs. I don't know. Maybe this is a question for Markus or someone who knows how the CPU makes their picks in the fantasy draft. Any help would be appreciated.

Why would you allow drafting if people are just going to have the CPU pick for them. It kind of defeats the purpose of making the trade if the person does not get to make the pick for themselves.
You never know what the computer will do in drafting. I have seen some truly horrible CPU picks while playing this game. Art |

drafting
The game is aware of teams’ roster holes, as one can see when looking at the Free Agents screen. The game knows, for example, if an organization needs catchers, and it follows that the CPU would draft to meet these needs.
