MLB banner needed

I am looking for a banner for my MLB league. It will host mosty real teams with some fictional (with all fictional players).

This banner is going to be used instead of the OOTP banner which is used in the HTML outputs. The banner size is 800x100 (jpeg format). Thank you.

Deitrus, maybe include a few details of what you're looking for to inspire some of the creative minds over here. I'd whip one up, but I don't have the talent.

OK, good idea.

As I said I am looking for a MLB banner. I would like the MLB logo with the MLB colors. Maybe the backround could be transparent. For example, the backround could have different players hitting, pitching or even throwing the ball. Kind of like what the ESPN Skin by Shub.

Look below for the example.

Hmmm, I made a banner a while back for an online league where the guy requested it to be similar to ESPN colors.

So let me know if you want something similar to that.

dbacks is there any way that you could make one like that for me with a couple of changes. here is my site www.bslbaseball.com on the top i would like to have that banner inplace of the current heading and would create the same links in it.

Instead of it being red I would like the same blue that you see on the site. Also, possibly use the BSL banner that you see on the waiting list page.

Let me know.

Thanks, and keep up the great work!

This could work very well. Anyone want to give it a try?

Let me know if the following is what you're looking for. 1 and 2 are just slight variations of each other.

Nice job, dbacks!
What method did you use to give "MLB" its shadow effect?

Thanks guys.

LL, in photoshop, it's very easy to create that effect. I don't know what you use to do your logos, but in Photoshop, I first typed out the text I wanted to use, and gave it a very small bevel (size = 1, everything else stays the same). I rasterized the layer, and duplicated it twice. I applied a motion blur to the bottom and middle layers. For one, I set the angle of the blur at 0 degrees, and for the other, I set it at 90 degrees. As for the distance, you can tinker until you find something you like. In my case, I just used a distance twice the size of my font (I used a size of 50, so a distance of 100).

Then if you want, you can combine the three layers if you want to move it around...

dbacks, is there any way you could replace a few of those baseball players and put Mark Prior and Mark Mcguire in it? Also, if there is room for it, would it be possible to put "MLB League News and Reports" somewhere on it?

I hope I am not asking too much and again thank you very much for doing those banners.
