couple things with this.

-There was no shrinking with the batters ratings, on the contrary, propsects seem to gain on a fairly consistant basis.
- The one full season I did go through, I did not see any young pitching propects ratings improve, in fact those that had made the majors were also shrinking in their ratings. this shrinking seemed exclusive to 'pure stuff'.
- If the game is in fact doing this, how is it handling prospects, or is this V6 asking me to base more of my decisions on stats.
- Henry I just wanted to say a thank you for looking into this, and I don't want you to feel as though I hate the game in point of fact I really like it alot. I think somethings happen much to often during games but the game flows very well.

rschick,

I understand :)

With the HUGE change this year to DIPS, Markus move to London - limiting our access to him - and me waiting day-by-day to become a grandpa for the 3rd time - has made it difficult to analyze and uncover all the intricacies of the game. Rest assured, however, that we'll get to the bottom of most of them eventually :D

Hey I have this problem too, and I noticed that in the default roster set, no pitcher has a talent rating in stuff higher than 59.

I think this might be the cause of the "shrinking stuff" problem.

I would like to see this fixed, since I always use the default roster.

Well, when I export the Career 2004.lg file into excel, sort by stuff, and then do a search for "talent," the highest rating is 59.

I did the same thing with the CBL 2.0 roster file, and I counted 44 pitchers who have a stuff talent rating of 90 or higher.

So I don't see how these roster files are the same.
