IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.

I caught the sequence of events after I posted, I was just pointing out the omittence of the word 'with,' between 'school and worked' perhaps? It took a few readings to finally sink in, that's all.

No harm, no foul.

You seem to be getting the idea I was a gymnast. Sorry, if you got that impression. I haven't worn a pair of tights since I wore my Greek Evzone costume, as a three-year-old. Don't start thinking that I'm on the feminine end of the spectrum.

I mean, how much more macho and manly can one get than the donning of the Greek Evzone look?

I know all of the White Sox because I am the GM..............oh wait. That is just in OOTP.

But I really do know ex-baseball player Tim Bogar. He knows me too. He is my uncle's best bud.

I wish it was under different circumstances since it was my uncle's funeral, but I met Keith Frederick (I think that was his last name) who is one of the heads of the group that is trying to bring the Expos to Northern Virginia. I think he was friends with my uncle when they went to school at GW.

The governor of Virginia introduced himself to me as "Mark" too which I thought was kind of neat. Also one of my uncle's friends at GW.

Former Rutgers students and current NFL'ers Raheem Orr(met him at the hospital. I was there for a broken ankle after playing football in the mudd, he was there after getting stabbed in a bar fight), Nate Jones, and L.J. Smith.
Also know future NBA'ers Herve Lamazana, Ricky Shields, and anyone else off the current rutgers basketball team because my friend was living on the same floor as the team last summer during summer session and we balled with the team at least once a week.

Billy Wagner was a star pitcher at my high school here in Virginia, he comes back every now and then and talks to some classes, got his autograph and met him.

The only one I know is Johnny Pohl, Minor League for the St. Louis Blues. He has played 1 game in the NHL for the Blues. I knew him from High School, I also knew his 2 other brothers who played on the team. I don't know any REAL Pros though.

Daylon McCutcheon - Cleveland Browns (Starting CB)

Him and my sister became very good friends in highschool @ Bishop Ahmat in La Puente, CA. They even dated for a while, Mccutcheon used to come over for family events such as hollidays, and other random bbq's/get togethers. this went on during his junior year in high school. he and my sis still talk on the phone, and write an occasional letter to eachother keeping in touch.

She got all kinds of autographed cleveland brown and usc stuff for me. (like footballs, auto jersey, and programs) nothing major.

he's a very cool guy who came from a very bad situation. it was funny watching him in high school, he would play RB, QB, DB, and Return kicks on special teams. he would run 30 yards east and west, break 5 tackles and outrun everybody to the endzone, throw a TD, catch a TD, and intercept passes on a regular basis, its amazing to see future-pro's in high school competition, its laughable how much better they are then everybody else, and entertaining to watch.
