Solutions for all who are having problem Ankit Stadium set...
Problem #1: The field and the players are shifted to the right.
Solution: Go in to League Setup and then click on Edit Ballpark (lower right under League Editors). In the lower right, there is a button named "Convert Coordinates to OOTP 6", click on it, ONLY ONCE. Then click on the Test Coordinates button to the left of it. If everything is ok, then click on the button named "Assign these to all ballparks". Problem should be solved... Problem #2: Black screen instead of the stadium. Solutions: a) Use the freeware program IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com) to convert the files from JPG to BMP. b) Make sure the files are named exactly like the JPGs are named. For example: Angles.jpg should be converted to Angels.bmp, not anything else. c) Make sure the bmps are in the Ankit folder inside the Graphics folder of OOTP 6 (C:\Games\OOTP 6\Graphics\Ankit\*.bmp) d) Launch Game Configuration and Disable Direct3D. ***NOTE*** The stadium set has been updated for OOTP 6. It now supports OOTP 4, 5 & 6.***

Problem #1 isn't an issue for me.
Problem #2 is. The team page http://ncaa-football.net/teampage.gif In game shot http://ncaa-football.net/game.gif Schedule http://ncaa-football.net/schedule.gif Ballpark edit http://ncaa-football.net/edit.gif Ballpark test http://ncaa-football.net/test.gif They seem to be working in every aspect but the in game. My path to the files is C:\Program Files\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP 6\Graphics\Ankit\ No files were renamed, they were just converted to .bmp thru photoshop. |

Also tell them that if they're using a previous set they had.. it's probably not the right set. I was using one from ootpdownloadcenter, so I downloaded the one in your sig, and boomp, it works. Still had to change the coords but those are on a post I searched out

I'm having the same problem as SeattleCane - the stadiums show up in every location except for in-game (black screen). It deosn't appear to be a file issue, because the stadiums show up elsewhere.

For the longest time these wouldnt work. I had converted them to .bmp, used the .DAT files, put them in the right folder....turns out, when I converted them in Paint, somehow they got switched to 1024x768. Not sure how that happened, but once I changed the resolution, all works well. Very, very nice work.

I checked the original files from Ankit and they were all 1024X768 pre-conversion.

Converting to 800X600 doesn't make the black screen go away, unfortunately...

Ankit,
I just noticed when I go to Ballpark Setup, the coordinates listed there are 1024X768 - is that what needs to be changed to 800X600, and not just the .bmp files? |

My stadiums are set at 1024*768 and they still show up in the game. The last setting in coordinates will shrink them down to the size that needed to be displayed in the game, technically 640*480, even if the picture is 1280*960.

rcook,
I am assuming you mean field dimensions (width and height). If so, then set them to 640 (width), and 480 (height). I doubt that will work but worth a shot. Also, try to disable Direct3D using Game Configuration.
