Happiness is being traded away from Tampa Bay after being rushed to pitch in the big leagues, and joining a Marlins team that goes on to win five straight World Series.

Unhappiness is not being injured once in 15 years, and then having a Stiff Shoulder AND Pulled Tricep in the same year - at age 35, killing your shot at 400 wins.

happiness is your 25 year old starter drafted by the Red Sox and working his way up to be the starting pitcher and after winning a couple of rings you pitch a 24-4 season (a shoe-in for the Cy Young) and you are the starting pitcher for Game 1

Unhappiness is throwing 20 pitches in game 1 and getting a phone call saying you have a season ending injury that requires surgery. The Sox lose the Series and all your stats take a big hit and dont improve much over the off season. You were once a 4 1/2 star pitcher, knocked down to 3stars and your now 3rd in the rotation.

happiness is the next year the Sox are back in the WS and being the starter for game 1.

Unhappiness is AGAIN getting injured while pitching Game 1

Not so bad this year... just a small injury that has me Day to Day.

Weird huh? well not as wierd as this:

Randy Wolf
Injured on 7/18/2007 with a Strained Back Muscle, out for 5 weeks...
Injured on 8/18/2008 with a Strained Bicep Muscle, out for 5 weeks...

This season must have some glitch in the injury algorythm or something.

Being from Chicago, Happiness is watching the Cubs win their first World Series since 1908.

Unhappiness is watching them do it while sitting on the bench of the losing Mariners...

Happiness/Unhappiness

Happiness is your team winning the world series.

Unhappiness is being sent to AAA 1 week before playoffs after being in the starting lineup from opening day

Another from the same player...

Happiness is winning rookie of the year

Unhappiness is having to wait till you're 26 to be a rookie

Happiness is winning your 4th straight Outstanding Batter award @ the age of 36, having all your stats maxed with no hints of decline, and even getting another +10 to Contact in the postseason.

Unhappiness is being automatically retired @ the age of 37 before the next season starts.

BTW, please go to this thread ( http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...threadid=52885 ) in the Troubleshooting board if you have had a similar experience. This needs to be fixed, or explained if is supposed to be this way for some crazy reason.

Happiness is getting a call-up to the majors two days before the trade deadline on a team that seems to be running away with their division...

Unhappiness is being traded one day later to a perennial doormat (*cough*TampaBay*cough*) and having to sit there being tested for Radon while watching your former team win 3 of the next 4 World Series....

Happiness is being drafted and rapid advancing as an outfielder with a big upside potential.

Unhappiness is that your drafting team is the Angels, who have fixtues in the outfield with the names Anderson, Salmon, and Erstad.

Happieness is Anderson leaving via free agency and being promoted to a full time gig in the show.

Unhappiness is the realization that you've got to replace Anderson's numbers.

Happiness is playing in 120 games in your first year

Unhappiness is only getting 60 at bats in your first year - and batting less then .100

Well, having just finally gotten onboard a couple days ago, I'd say this:

Happiness is hitting .348 at the end of June after having spent the first half of your first three seasons struggling (and the second half red hot) and finally getting a shot at an All-Star game.

Unhappiness is breaking your foot on July 2.
