I have been too long removed from modding stadiums and need some help from those experts still doing it. Tried to play a game with my Estadio Latinoamericano and get an error message and boots it back into 2D mode. Any ideas on the issue (missing file perhaps???) I'd love to play it but not sure the issue nor how to fix it. I can zip up the file if someone with Sketchup would ever take a peek. I am hoping this isn't the issue with all my parks.

Strange error message. I've never seen that before and I wonder if it really is a problem with the custom stadium or some game files are actually corrupted. Are you having the same issue with other stadiums or tried to re-install the game? Meanwhile, Ised you can zip up your stadium and I'll test it on my PC.

So, here's the trick. If you copied the folder over from a previous version, you accidently copied over some of the non-stadium folders that are not compatable anymore. The ones that ship with the game. Delete them (anything that is literally not a modded Stadium folder) and install 27 again so those files come from the install of 27 and not a dragged over folder. I solved this with someone else earlier in the year. There are several like /misc and a shared textures one. Maybe a player model one in that models folder

Stupid question perhaps, but which folder do you mean? The stadium folder or the saved game? I do simply drag my ballpark folder from OOTP26 to OOTP27. The game I am playing is a totally new one I started from scratch.

The stadium folder. In FastSpring, here: C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 27\ballparks\models

Instead of dragging over the whole folder, you needed to just drag over the modded park folders one by one to void the issue. So that everything that isn't a modded park is direct from the OOTP27 install. Those folders like /player_preview and /misc and /attendence and /start_screen etc. must come from the 27 install.

Since you already dragged the folder over, delete all those folders that install from OOTP27 and reinstall. The modded parks folders, obviously, stay there fine (since they are already there) and, with those default game file folders deleted, a reinstall will replace those now-deleted files with the OOTP27 versions.

This kind of drag and drop of the entire folder you tried caused a lot of issues with player models too like this:

It's just something in 26 that doesn't work anymore in one of those folders. but the good new is your mod models are fine, it's just the other stuff in there that's the issue.

Okay,
So I deleted all non-stadium folders and re-installed the latest 27 patch. Same thing is happening with my stadiums. Weird. Would there be any other folders in the game that would be affected? I don't want to delete the entire game and start from scratch.

I thought for sure that would be the issue. I just downloaded the park and tried myself and got the same error as you in OOTP27.

I then went to OOTP26 and loaded the park and got the same error. Given that, there's got to be something missing in the folder that we have not thought of.

I have the same problem with OOTP 27 & 26. I also got an Open GL error. The screen borked and the game locked up so I could not get a screen shot. My downloaded file had a date of 4/29/2018.

Is there anyone with Sketchup that would open up one of the stadiums and try to "repack" it or whatever you do, I honestly can't even remember, and see if it will work? I remember putting a ****-tonne of work into these three stadiums in particular, and Delta Airlines (which I am going to go check right now).
